OYO 48497 Vasu Resorts

I have a mixed outlook. Pros: 1. Super spacious clean double rooms. The rooms were quite big, even had a small study space. The bathroom was very clean. The linen provided were great, clean white ones without any odour. 2. Quiet place, nice view. Away from the main road, the place is quite. It also has a great view of the tea gardens and the mountains. Nice for an evening view. Cons: 1. Unsatisfied service Hotel people speak only Tamil, so please learn before you go. I had to ask them to provide me with toiletries. Had to ask them to connect the geyser. 2. Food is an issue. The hotel doesn't provide complimentary breakfast and nearest eatery is 10mins walk. 3. No drinking water They are basically just a motel. Carry all the stuff you need. Water isn't provides at rooms. No hot drinking water.

Had a home like feel. Resort attendees were very helpful people. We a group of 8 friends had visited on September 2019. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Beds are of good condition. Overall a good one. Have a happy and safe journey:-)

We were a group of five cyclists who had to settle for a dormitory-type room as tourists thronged Valparai on Independence day weekend and all places were occupied. For five guests there were 2 double beds and an extra single bed. We got only three blankets, and on request received none more. We asked for plates to have food, but got none. No chairs to sit. One washroom for 5 people. Our cycles, we had to carry to the rooftop, as the resort guys preferred to park their own bikes in the little parking space available (which was all we needed).No breakfast or tea in the morning. In short, get what they give and ask no more.

Inter connected room was provided I don't know why again no privacy.||Plz if you are visiting valpada avoid vasu resort.|Lots of other good hotels are there plz go for that.|Don't trust OYO they have cheated me.

Avoid at all cost! Pathetic management... We booked a week early using MMT and paid the cash in advance, on the day of arrival we called the hotel and confirmed that we would be only checking in by 5pm, they said no problem. And by the time we reached there, they gave away the room to some walk in guys for twice the money we paid, and said to us that all the rooms were full and our check in was denied...and asked us to apply for refund... Called MMT customer service, nothing they could do also as all the rooms were filled by then... That left us stranded in the evening during peak season as almost all the other hotels were filled... Much better hotels are available at Valparai as we searched the town for a while...

One of the worst resort ever seen.The location of it is terrible. It is located somewhere interior of valparai where even a car cannot enter.The staffs dont even know how to address the guest, the call us "party" and words r not able to be heard.||||There is no facilities as mentioned in the website. Rooms are not cleaned. Even dustbin were not cleared. Room service is worst. Toilets are not cleaned properly. Towels were not given. Food are brought from outside. Extra bed was worst. The hotel made our mood spoiled. Food is bought from outside and served.||||So we decided to vacate the room. Unfortunately we paid money in advance. When we asked to repay atleast one day paymemt they refused us.||It is not suitable for family vacation. It should be named LODGE instead of resort

I really had a very good experience in this resort,the rooms and toilets were really clean and they provided food on demand and also wifi facility was also available,there is 24*7 hot water facility available in the attached bathrooms,the view fron the balcony is really mesmerizing.

I can't rate below 1 star that's why I give 1 start here. One of the worst staying experience. Definitely not recommended for family stay. If you going for just drunk and hanging best place. No problem response from reception and no proper bedsheets and unclean toilet. Bad smells in room. Pathetic experience. No water in bathrooms at night times, no cable TV is working.
