Idham Inn Valparai

Budget room with availability of hot water and TV. But the cleanliness is not up to standard, most of it is with dust. Some lights are not clearly working in the room. Location wise it is okay but they don't provide the parking facility.

Rooms are good. Interior design of the room is excellent. But service is ok. They didn't provide towel, shampoo as mentioned by them. No drinking water available. We have to get down every time to fill the bottle. No room service.

Wow just wow. Very neat, clean and huge room. The idea of low roof converted into a bedroom for 5-6 people is awesome. Good parking facility. Located just before the fire service station at the entrance of Valparai. Strongly recommend this place for family, couples and group stay.

Rooms are suitable primarily for groups of friends. The place is not ideal for family but families can stay if they don't mind some disorder. Heated water was available round the clock as every room has its own water heater. Beddings and linens were okay - not exceptionally great. Nice view of a nearby tea estate. Room service is non existent and there's no restaurant in the hotel even if the board says bed and breakfast. House keeping staff was friendly and helped us with questions although it's highly informal and not very professional. As a group of friends we had good fun at the place but that's because of the group of friends. The inn deserves 2 stars practically speaking.

Way too over priced for the quality. No free wifi, soap, shampoos, body wash was provided as mentioned in their board. When i asked why they haven't given us these in a soft tone, they arrogantly asked me to write review in google and that they dont care.

Not at all good stay, very costly, only if you are searching for immediate rooms you can take room here, No hot water supply, no proper light facilities,no wifi, no towels, no paste and soap, warnish paint smell fully and no tv supply. Waste pf my money.

The room prices vary from 1500, 1300 to 900 depending on the room size. The room is decently good for the price. The First day we stayed at a duplex structured room for Rs.1500 (5 members). The second day also we stayed in a duplex structured room for which I payed Rs.900 (3 members). The 1500 room is well lit with sunlight and it's in the first floor with a good view of the tea estate and the 1300 is in ground floor (which we didnt try) and the 900rs room is in the lower ground floor with very minimal view of the tea estate. For those who don't like dark rooms, the sunlight is very poor in the 900rs room. This place has a free wifi but they give the password only if we ask for it. And it doesn't get picked up in the basement room (900rs). Overall the stay was decently good.

If you are looking for a cheap and spacious place to stay, Idham inn is good. Rates are very affordable. Very large room. Lacks restaurant. You will have to buy food from outside. Also the view from the room was good. The room in which I stayed even had a balcony.
