Worst experience that we had ever in our life pathetic location not good for old ppl and kids. No internet access even by mobile data in the rooms. There was no power the complete day and night. It's in a prime location but no proper maintenance and service. Dnt expect much by seeing the other reviews.

Awesome place, we stayed here for 2 nights ( hill view room) , strongly recommending this cottage Stay was lovely and peaceful,no lifts have to take the stairs. Pros: 1.big room 2.bathroom was clean 3.tap water is very clean 4.LED tv 5.big window for hill view 6.common balcony 7.near to all shops, restaurants and hotels Cons: 1.no lift 2.no proper car parking (but they will arrange it for us)

The rooms are pretty nice and well maintained. The host is very welcoming and the services are good. You get a very delicious homely food upon request and the rates are reasonable. Some of the rooms have a view to the tea plantation in the backyard of the building which is so soothing. It's one of the best places to stay if you are on your get away mode to Valparai.

Poor responsibility. The staff had asked us to order for dinner early by4:30pm.they said they will give food by 9pm. When enquired regarding the food, they did not start preparing food and said will deliver after 10:30pm. We had to cancel the order and had to eat outside. Very irresponsible management. When we checked in , we asked for water. They said they will provide but did not provide. Very disappointed.

Fortunately, we got a room with a view , otherwise the rooms are without ventilation. No room service. Not even a morning tea.They don't even provide a towel,soap, dronking water ,nothing in there. And the stairs you have to take to reach the room are the 'Ladder to hell', if you aren't physically fit enough, you can't climb down or up. Only good thing if you get a room with a view ,it's the only satisfaction. No parking available, you have to park your car ,on road side at your own risk.

Cons There is no service available No drinking water inside the room They switch on the water heater in the morning 1 hr Old people find it difficult to step down the rooms Most of the rooms either up or down Steps also not recommended for seniour citizens

Don't go here at all! There is a weird old man who will peek into your windows. Apparently, he works there. This old man duty is to check how their guests are sleeping in theory in the beds. My experience: I was up by 6am and went for a ride around Valparai, and I came back at 9am and thought I would take nap before the check-out. Just when I and my friend settled down to take a nap, this weird old guy comes to our windows and wakes us up with his already weird voice. He doesn't knock the door at all, he'll first creep into all the windows, find you by looking into all the windows and then wake you up! It seems like the staff doesn't appreciate the guests, they feel like they are doing you a favor. I paid RS.1300 for 2 for a night, even though I checked in at 8pm, they never consider my request for an extended check-out (we had informed them during the check-in). This place is not worth anything more than Rs.800 for 2pax. We paid Rs.1300. Overall the weird old man demands tips, Yes! He demands! For Tips! It is best if you avoid this place and get a better place with a bargain. Bad experience overall!
