One of the best stay with family members.v stayed around 25 including kids.Rooms are neat with all facilities. Food is simply awesome. Really a Delicious food.Sholaiyar dam is 10 mins walkable from the bungalow. Morning v had a trekking to see the sun rise at top of the hill in the resort. Overall a must beautiful stay resort in Valparai.

We stayed for a weekend, booked in advance, asked for a room on the first floor but they said it was already given when I checked in (disappointed). The property is a 300 acre tea estate with awesome views and we get full access to the property! We can see the full sholayar dam from this property ! We were able to spot hornbill birds at sunset inside. The room is spacious but there is no TV, no toiletries were provided. Overpriced for the price. Food is buffet for dinner and breakfast and tasty as well. Don't miss the morning tea ! Care taker took good care of us and made sure we ate by continuous calling.

we are 4 family friends stayed here for three nights, It was a fantastic experience. The location was quiet and scenic, offering a perfect escape from city life. This property is located within a tea estate and very near to the Sholayar Dam. Actually from few rooms you can see the Dam itself. The staff Mr. Guna and Amit was incredibly friendly. Though there was a little language difficulty, they tried their best and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner which included fresh local produce. Mr. Velu is amazing cook on local cuisine and I will suggest rather than instructing him what items to cook, better give him an opportunity to surprise you. The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with all basic amenities. They have another property nearby which has a private waterfall. You can speak to their staff and plan a half day trip there. They give online payment link (to pay through cards) to make the advance payment which now a days very few people are doing. The nearest petrol pump is around 22 KMs. So plan your trip accordingly I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

A beautiful plantation close to sholayar dam with excellent views. This is close to Kerala - tamilnadu border and sholayar dam approximately 14 kms from valprai breathtaking views in heart of nature and lots of wildlife seens

I recently stayed in this property with my family. It was a great experience with nothing to complain. The location is extraordinary. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Food was very good and additional asks were addressed duly. Over all a great experience and I recommend this resort for all including families.

Stayed at star tea estate at their sholayar dam property from 29th sept to 3rd oct. We had a wonderful time and came back with memories to cherish for a lifetime . My feedback is as below.. Property : Perched high on a hill . U can get spectacular views of the sholayar dam ... Well maintained!! Rooms : very spacious.. can easily accommodate a family of 3 . Clean rooms and toilets . Hot water 24x7 .. now that's the icing on the cake. Food : a special mention to chef velu who really made it worth our while with tasty healthy & freshly made local food . Chicken curry was to die for ... So were the local subzis. On the day of our checkout he was graciuos enough to prepare puttu with kadla curry .. so yummy . Wud also like to mention chef Selva kuma from Anally bungalows property of star tea estates where we had gone for a day trip . Food was super maccha Things to do: valparai is a paradise for bird watchers. But if u want to unwind... Relax .. take walks within the sprawling tea estates .. be one with nature .. Valparai is the place for u. Last but not the least .. wud like to thank Mr. Murugan who made sure we got a warm welcome & provided us with all the help needed to do some local siteseeing as well as a jeep ride within the yea estate. Wud definitely like to visit once again
