It was a wonderful stay there. Very peaceful place. Staffs are very good, patient and listen to what you say. Its very budget friendly, the rooms are available in three ranges in rates, 2500, 3500 & 6500. Based on your need you can opt. It safe to stay with family. Morning breakfast is complimentary comes with Idly, Dosa, Pongal and Poori. Dinner you can order from the menu in advance, they will prepare it for you. Food is nominal, in terms of rate and also taste. Homely food and it does not hurt your stomach and health in any way. You will get nice sleep, without any disturbances. All birds wake up before you and start chirping and singing...!! It's wonderful waking up with a warm welcome from birds. Lots of different plants are there inside the fence, flowers make you feel you are in a heaven with nice aroma...!! It will absolutely give mental relief for the people who stuck in city and have a busy life. !!

I opted for the budget room since all the other rooms were already booked. Unfortunately, the room was quite small, and the bathroom felt very cramped. I requested a discount, but it wasn't provided. Honestly, it didn't feel worth the 2.5k I paid. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good , very near to Sholayar dam. Food was also good. However, for this price, you can find plenty of better options in Valparai

We went as a group of 5 women. Rooms wre Safe ,Spacious and clean. Breakfast is good, friendly staffs, can watch birds and animals,Nature surrounded. Worth the money. Had a pleasant stay. BEST CHOICE WE MADE. Most Recommended . Thanks to Evangeline Mam .Manager and staffs for being flexible and kind

It's a Guesthouse, Homely, Family stay atmosphere. Close to Malakkapaara - Valparai check post. No AC in the room. No game centre. No pool. No activities. 3-4 car parking space inside the compound. Helpful and Supportive staffs. Clean and maintained rooms. Food will be cooked and served, but require to inform them in advance. Slightly expensive. Spacious corridor. Overall good experience.

I had to give only 2 star rating because of the rate they took on the food was a total rip off. Charging almost 50 and 60 for one dosa and chapathi and charging rs 60 for boost which felt like a boost mixed up with hot water. Coming to the food was not at all worth for the money spent 3 dosa 1 chicken curry full of bones and curry leaves and 3 chapathi 1 lime and 2 single omelette charged around like 650 for this. And was not at all worth in terms of quantity and taste. Theres a hotel called pravsi with in 10 km range had lunch breakfst and dinner total came out like 680 something. We didnt inform at the beginning because the staffs were so friendly and their dealing was proffesional but tat dosent meet the full requirement. Coming to the room they charged around 3000 for two of us for a room which was not all maintained wall full of fungal cracks and even we found bugs and crawler's when we slightly moved the bed. And the fan dosent even swing fast it will take some time to get some speed tnx to climate ober there we didn't felt heat. At the time of settlement when josiah gave me the bill i was shocked and initiated to gave some discount as the rate were high and he simply neglected with a smile . what i felt was they are complete business oriented without bringing any ethics. 3600 gone in a flash

Nice family guest house very spacious. Service was nice with very pleasant and peaceful surrounding. Food served was good but little spicy though.Suport staff were very friendly and guided us in visiting all the popular places in Valparai.

It was a pleasant stay at Petra resort for a day we stayed with our family..The rooms are clean and nice location with safe atmosphere..Thanks a lot to Mr. Josiah (Manager) and his house keeping Team members for all their humnke support throughout our stay to make our trip memorable .. Appreciated

Room was very small and it was little difficult to spend a day in that , staffs were friendly and food was good. I don't think its worth paying 2.5k. They call it budget room but it wasn't. |There are other good options in Valparai with that amount
