Rooms are good and cost is 800, no hotwater. Bathrooms are old. Management know only tamil. For Highfy and rich people feels waste lodge. But for middle class 800 is bearable. And it is opp to temple

Decent stay with basic amenities at vaitheeshwaran Kovil near bazzar and south car street, Accommodation is good for keeping luggage, short stay, local visit. Rooms start from 500 for singles & 800 for double. Very close to restaurants and will arrange travels for nearby places based on requests. The only issue is mosquitoes & no water bottle,bed sheets or towels will be provided.

Worst service, old man who is the owner/worker in that lodge, is very arrogant and don't even know how to behave. You will regret staying there.

Good cosy place just in front of Vaitheeswaran Kovil. Focus needed on cleaner bathrooms. Also the bathroom could not be closed properly.

Unclean rooms, damaged pipes and the worst part being the bathroom tap water flow stopped when we were in a hurry to visit the temple! Now, you can imagine how pathetic the place is! The location of the stay is the only positive.

Except for the proximity there is literally nothing this hotel can put across. We took two double AC rooms since it was early summer ||||1) The toilets were extremely unclean . The flush does not work ||||2) The AC and fans are handled by switches in the reception. Our Tv did not work and AC had to be repaired ( it took like 15 min)||We reached hotel by midnight 1am and were terribly pissed off. Our rooms were booked two days before by the way||||3) And finally when we checked out they asked us about the TV remote. We did not even switch on the TV and had no clue. But they were persistent that we might have taken it by mistake. We had actually packed everything and mounted it on car by this time. We told that in case if we hv it we will ship it once we reach home. They didn't even bother to apologize... They asked us to immdly check our luggage. A universal remote hardly costs 70-80 Rs ...||We checked luggage but nothing was found.it wasted a lot of time and it was embarrassing.. ||||So pls avoid this lodge to avoid a poor day.

Let me start with the good news:||1) The Hotel is exactly oppposite the temple. So no need to walk or take a cab/auto. Just leave your footwear in your room and walk across.||2) Genset to power fans when there's no power.||||Bad news:||1) Rooms are terrible and maintained poorly. There is dirt everywhere.||2) No hot water EVEN if there's a heater in your bathroom. Doesn't work is the standard claim. ||3) Extremely flimsy doors. Can hear everything from next room.||4) Toliets don't flush properly.||5) Uncaring management: find new excuses to avoid you.||||Avoid this Hotel at all costs.||Last time i went to vaitheeswaran koil, i stayed at Sadasivam Hotel. There the rooms are extremely good for the price, and well maintained resort. (Food was terrible as usual).||||On top of that, when i left, the guys at reception wanted a tip !

We had a good experience. The place had adequate water facility and proper electricity. We had availed an AC room which was equipped quite well and the AC had no problems. The staff were hospitable and also helped in finding buses and ATMs etc
