Not worth for the price. You can stay in a good hotel in Salem city for the same cost. They don't have basic amenity like lifts. Staffs aren't aware of basic hospitality & empathy. They say the fare is for 24 hours. But expect you to check-out earlier. Money minded. Faced frequent & multiple power cuts during our stay. Room was much smaller than what you will get at a similar priced hotel. Also, they said they don't provide extra bed as room is small and you have to take an additional room. They were not willing to provide room service for breakfast. Later they agreed to provide room service for aged parents and say others should go down and eat food. We had booked 2 rooms for 4 adults. After an argument, they agreed to serve food for all. While checkout, the staff asked me multiple times whether I would claim GST with the hotel bill or not. They were fully hesitant to provide bills. I lost patience and said keep the bills yourself and walked away. Room was small & compact. It was clean though. Bed was smaller than a queen size. It can't fit 2 adults if one among them is obese. AC didn't had power backup and it got switched off and switched on multiple times due to power cuts. Presume the light and fan had power backup. But it also went off and multiple times we had complete power cut for few minutes. It would be 2.5 star rating for the room. The frequent & multiple power cuts should lower it to 1 star rating. Worst was the staff behaviour, lack of hospitality and empathy. Felt like I am staying in a cheap hotel where you were treated like a slave (instead of a guest). It would be a complete negative rating. If you are someone who prefer good hotels, you should avoid this.

This is our second stay at Travellers Inn, which is above New Saravana Bhavan and very close to the Vaikundam Toll Plaza.|For travellers, who would like to take a break on their return to Chennai from Nilgiris, this is at a very strategic location. You don't have to veer off the Highway & can resume your journey the next day. Rooms are clean, sanitized toilets, provided with comfortable beds & AC, suitable for families. The rent is very reasonable and comes with complimentary breakfast!! The Staff are very helpful & will accommodate any special request for choice of rooms or extra bed. The Hotel downstairs provides very good vegetarian fare and is a favourite amongst travellers and locals alike.|The Complex has a convenience store, ATM and covered parking. The latest addition is a Zeon Public Charging Network for Electric Vehicles!!

Not worth the money we spend here. To add to the value, they have disgusting staff who are just not willing to extend their service. Totally disinterested jokers who sit and chit chat without paying any attention to the customer's concerns or queries. Arrogant and useless employees.

The place offers a awesome point to recharge for tired travelers, the location is perfect for people travelling to Ooty, Masinagudi, Kochi and Wayanad. We started from Chennai in the evening and reached by 8:30 pm. Booking an accommodation is a hassle as they are not available online. One has to call them and confirm, I was little paranoid as I was sure they would bungle my booking. Thank goodness they were very professional.They offer ample parking and small shops sell small gifts and trinkets. The rooms are cozy with Telly and running hot water. Food was delicious, but a little spicy to my liking. The drawbacks would be a noisy kitchen which makes sleeping a tad difficult. || Another quirky thing is they serve the complimentary breakfast upstairs and we had leave early and were kept waiting for a long time, on coaxing the attender he revealed that the breakfast was ready but as per the sentiment the first customer has to be a customer paying for food, and since ours was a complementary breakfast the supervisor was reluctant to serve us. I had a quick solution by ordering a coffee and paying for it. Breakfast ready only by 6:45 am so if leaving early skip it as there are many good eateries including many A2B en route. Despite these small irritations I must agree that I had a good rest and was fully recharged to continue with our adventure in Masinagudi.

This is a regular pit stop for food and I have never stayed in this place. They have yummy dosas and variety of chutneys to accompany them. There are specialties like Rice string hoppers with Coconut milk that is worth a try. Place is maintained very neat with efficient and courteous staff with highlight being the lightening quick service. I would have given this a 5 start rating if they had clean toilets attached to the hotel, the current arrangement need people to step out of the hotel and go around it to access the toilets. This may not be convenient for ladies and old people (and during rains).

This property is on highway. For those who want to take a night rest and start early morning, perfect halt. Excellent neatly maintained room. I was told we need to book room by phone. Adjacent restaurant is available and also shopping outlets.They provide complimentary breakfast. there is a factor outlet of a textile company. Good stay for refreshing.

This was a 2 floor building, all rooms were on the top floor. Basic cleanliness. Bed sheets and pillow covers were stained. Wall paper was peeling off. Cabinets and mirrors were unclean and cracked. Did not check the washroom water heater. Air conditioner worked OK. They had backup power generator to cover electric disruptions. TV channels were unclear with grainy video. We were able to choose to pay for either 12 hours or 24 hours. There was a restaurant below on ground floor offering decent and non expensive south indian food. Beware of other shops on the ground floor, they were selling items such as clothing for unreasonablly high price. Vehicle parking space was plenty, clean and free of cost. Wi-Fi was free of cost, worked at about 1.5 Mbps.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Since it is located on the highway, it is ideal for an overnight stay when you need to break the journey. There is a very good vegetarian restaurant attached that serves quality, tasty food.
