Templecity box stays

I have always wondered how it would be to stay in a container! The box stay is a series of stacked up containers proudly declared to have been completed in 100 days by 50 labourers working day and night! It looked well designed and looked pretty from the highway. As you got off the highway you found that they had forgotten to lay the road to the main entrance. We had a family function to attend around Vadipatti and so my cousin had booked this hotel as it was at a convenient distance. I was thrilled to have this experience and was actually looking forward to it. The double bed was a bit cramped for space. The AC as expected was quite effective. The TV a bit too near and fitted at an angle on the roof. You can't watch for long as your neck starts aching. I had to stumble in the night to get across the bed to use the restroom. The pool was clean and inviting but we did not use it. There was a bamboo garden with swinging tables behind the rooms. It was well kept and well lit. It was a great photo opp place! In the morning we discovered that there was no room service in the real sense. The Temple City restaurant menu card was operated but you have to pay the room boy in advance as per the menu and it is practically a take away from the restaurant. As I went to look for birds in a nearby lake, I did not use the room service but my wife was not very happy as there was a long delay and the food was cold. I chose to walk down to the restaurant and that is another story! A word about the toilet. The sink tap did not work and you had to open with the control tap at the bottom. A fan was provided if needed. But if it was plugged in we couldn't use the mirror or the tiny wardrobe so thoughtfully provided. So we had to unplug it and shift it to the corridor. Overall a new experience. I thought the tariff was a bit steep for the comfort provided! P.S A word must be said about the tiny little balcony with a coffee table and two cute chairs. I never got to use it but admired it. Could be used in winter in more salubrious weather

A nice place. My friends and relatives spent 2 days in this hotel. They appreciated the food and the lodging. I went to meet them and stayed in the hotel The staff's are very helpful. Overall it's a pleasant place to spend a few days ...

I had great experience.. I stayed for a month and staff (Shakthi & Sathish)made me feel comfortable.. n definitely room is not to share with more ppl,, 1 or 2 is fine to fit in.. it's clean n tidy.. n beautiful landscape behind

I recently visited this restaurant and had the worst experience ever. The food was disappointing--lacking flavor, poorly presented, and not fresh. On top of that, the management was extremely unorganized and unresponsive. It felt like there was no one in charge. Service was slow, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested in addressing customer concerns. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Best stay on average rates, room, bathroom and swimming pool very cleaned, great location natural surrounding atmosphere, great staff, most friendly and helpful..

I had a fantastic stay at temple city box stays, the property was Clean , beautiful maintained, all the amenities good, the Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive , making sure I felt welcome fro strat to finish, the location and view super, I highly recommend for a relaxing and experience..

Horrible experience....rooms are near and clean but a worst experience happened to my friend while staying there.. suddenly a wall tile fell down it was unexpected but luckily no one is harmed .. when we reported to the manager he is such a irresponsible person. We asked him to report it to his higher official but he is keen in disposing the damaged pieces and didn't inform to the management about this, Many Negatives we faced while staying there... If u want peaceful sleep I wil not recommend this place. The bed is shaking frequently...
