Ar Grand Hotel Madurai

Room size small and cosy, airconditioner worked well. Bedsheets were terribly stained and the hotel staff said that was normal. Shower head was broken. No glasses for drinking water and no coffee mugs were provided. Also drinking water was not given to us. The worst thing is that hot water geyser was not there. Stayed on 22nd November 2024 for one night. God thing was that the room was without mosquitoes.

Worst customer service and unhygienic rooms ,extra tip beware of geysers for electric shocks

Booked 2 rooms at ground floor. Rooms and toilets were ok. No parking is provided in the hotels premises. We were asked to park our vehicle on the road side, where they assured 24x7 CCTV surveillance. When our car got damaged by some other vehicle at parking area(road side), we asked them for the CCTV footage. Yet we have not received any footage from them. This was happened during our visit to Madurai on 25 Dec 2022. We have tried to contact multiple times, still not getting any positive response. So in a nutshell, you can book or stay at this hotel at your own risk and don't expect any kind of assistance while facing any issues.

One of the worst experience we've faced ever. Good for booking directly. Pls don't prefer online bookings For an ac room booked, asked to pay extra while time of check in, asked to leave the place if we don't. Worst part is they asked to pay even for cleaning. Rooms are not fully completed. Has some finishing work on interior. Fully dissatisfied

Very close to the bus stand.. courteous staff.. flexible check in and check out. Value for money kind of budget stay

Nice experience with AR grand stays, i felt bad only one thing is bathroom.. should improve bathroom style/cleanes... also not provided any facilities like soap/oil...etc

Since the hotel is near highway, transportation will be easy. Rooms were average for the price.
