The Mountain Retreat

A wonderful peaceful place with a lush garden and lovely staff who really cared for us. The food was delicious and the place is clean. We always love staying here for our retreats. The swimming pool is great for the hot months. Thank you for everything!

We stayed during Full Moon day. We have thoroughly enjoyed stay at The Mountain Retreat. Rooms are spacious, maintained neat and clean. Swimming pool also good and had nice time. Staff are courteous and given all required support. It is noteworthy to mention Mr.Vinod , Manager and Mr.Putte swamy, care taker for giving best service from time of booking to till vacating the room. Breakfast (Idly, vada, pongal, dosa, coffee, tea) served hot hot and very tasty..If you visiting Tiruvannamalai either with family or friends, The mountain retreat resort is highly recommended stay option.

Overall good place to explore and getting good experiences.. its pet friendly resort in the kodai. Very quiet place.. superb lake view overall must stay place in kodaikannal

Stayed 2 nights with family. Very near to the temple and away from the crowds. It was a nice experience as it was a very relaxing stay. The vegetarian food provided by the resort are good with limited items. Rooms are good, safe and average and the service by the staff are good.

A beautiful homestay in the midst of nature, offering village themed cottages surrounded by paddy and flower fields. The most remarkable feature is that everything here runs on solar, making it an eco friendly retreat. The pool and small kitchen add to the charm, while the Tamil style homemade food makes it a wholesome experience. Perfect for a quiet, green getaway.

Below average guest house without any maintenance with no hygiene standards. Only good thing in this facility has the Swimming pool except that everything is messy. No staff available for any needs Not worthy for the price paid. Dinner not available even if you wish to order.Place is interior to main road hard to find & tiny path way to reach as well.

Very serene and quiet place and near to temple. Worth visiting in rains!!!!

choose the location if someone is happy with nature and away from noise. open space. good sized room but not very fancy yet very clean. Nice backyard. Simple food at very good price. Little forest kind of feel and avoid if you are scared of such surroundings. Access is through a mud-road. Pool is there but without gaurd. We loved it and it is a real value for money.
