Dwaraka Guest House

Warm guesthouse located in a silent and very quiet street close to Sri Ramana ashram (5-10 minutes by walk) and to several restaurants which offer a variety of foods, from Indian to continental dishes. Room are minimal, large and with a/c and some of them offer the hill's view. Staff is kind and very helpful. It's a good place where to stay if you want to be distant from the traffic jam of the Main Street. I'll recommend it!

A lovely, quaint and picturesque location with very clean premises. Easy access to restaurants and auto stands. Friendly and accomodating staff. You will wake up to the sounds of peacocks in the vicinity which adds to the divine experience.

We had an excellent stay at Dwaraka Guest House. It is very convenient location and very nice facilities. We were up on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view of the important mountain. We could easily walk to the ashram and they called us an auto to take us to the temple because it was raining but it is only a 20 min walk. They were kind enough to lend us an umbrella. It is a perfect stay. The room is clean and the staff are very kind and helpful even calling our bus for us. We would return again.

The room had good storage places, ac was working well. We were two but there were only one towel and one blanket. Very clean though and nice and clean bed, not too soft. There was an electric kettle but useless without cups, we had to ask for a cup. The person at the reception was kind and helpful though. Hot water only on tap, not on the shower head. But it's not really a problem given the high temperatures outside. The windows and the door are not at all sound-proof and we were often annoyed by many sounds - from 9pm to 10pm a man speaking with a strong annoying nasal voice for the whole guest house - in the middle of the night a dog crying for a long time - at 6.30 am a person very close making a lot of noise with metal buckets or something Fortunately not a lot of noise coming from the street which is very quiet There is access to a nice terrace for chilling out and also a nice rooftop for yoga practice.

Rooms were too clean and well maintained. There service is too good. As it is bit far from main temple travelling to & fro from temple to room will be difficult on busy days. If you have a personal vehicle one can blindly choose this stay.

The best is the beautiful view on Arunachala Mountain you can see from the room and 10 minutes walking from Sri Ramana Ashram, room clean and nice with a.c and fan. Hot water only from a tap at low level. Host very welcoming.

We had a lovely stay at the guest house. The staff is friendly, the location is really good (quiet but very close to important sights and good infrastructure). At the end we even got a small departure gift. We would always come back.

Highly recommend this place. We randomly found this property and gave it a try.. one of the best stays we ever had in Tiruvannamalai with good parking facility. It has best view from balcony. It's a new property with very neat and clean rooms.You can find nice painting and craft work across the property.Excellent service by staff . If you are coming with family you must consider this property. Only drawback is it bit far from temple. However staff can assist for transport. If you have your own vehicle then parking is not a problem at all. Swiggy is available for ordering food.
