Average place, the breakfast was okay for 100 rupees. It's like a buffet style and the gentleman working seemed nice. It doesn't feel like a proper restaurant, more like an extension of someone's house and they reluctantly serve you. It has a strange vibe in that regard. I went to try dinner once and I was barely acknowledged and I had to ask for a menu, i am pretty flexible but the lady who attended me didn't seem very interested and the vibe of the place put me off. Many better places in Tiru to spend your cash. Won't come back here

Room is good From ramana ashram ,it's 1 km 500m from girivalam road Owner is good, he can speak English also They have breakfast, lunch at cafe Pizza is available after 6pm Temple is not very near , auto people will charge more money during pournami

The room we received was much smaller than what we had expected and reserved. Unfortunately, the staff and owner were unprofessional and rude. They seemed more focused on collecting money than ensuring a pleasant experience for their guests. I wouldn't recommend staying here as the management seemed to be uncivilized and focus on money.

Horrible Experience - Avoid Satya's Guest House for safety and peace of mind||||Check-in Nightmare||||We booked rooms through Agoda, but upon arrival, the owner, who claimed he was an owner, was absent. It's a family-run guest house. His parents, who seemed to manage the property, and the owner himself over the phone refused to honor our booking despite showing payment receipts from Agoda. Based on our conversation with them, we realized that they handed over the rooms to someone else. They insisted that we accept a family room instead, at an additional cost. We contacted Agoda to report the issue, and they apologized for the inconvenience and assured us that a full refund would be processed.||||Due to our group, which included senior citizens and children, being unfamiliar with the surroundings and lack of transportation options in this area, we reluctantly agreed to a stay in a family room buy paying the amount in full.||||Shocking Room Conditions||||The rooms were in the worst and unhygienic condition, offering only very basic amenities like beds and fans. YOU DON'T GET ANYTHING ELSE. The bathrooms were unacceptable. One was too narrow, and the other too short for an adult to enter. Additionally, drainage water from outside washing areas flowed into the bathrooms, making it risky to step inside. There was also a water shortage. Furthermore, one room was locked, and we couldn't access it despite paying for it.||||Aggressive Owner and Threatening Behavior||||During checkout, when we noticed the owner's presence, we inquired about the booking and room issues. Instead of apologizing, he became violent and attempted to hit us. When he noticed one of the members recording the events over the phone, he became more aggressive and tried to hit us with a glass bottle. He even physically pushed a female member of our group. His father intervened, stopping him, while his mother apologized by performing Sashtanga Namaskara, apologizing for his son's behavior and pleaded with us to leave. A day filled with spiritual exploration including Giri Pradakshna and a visit to Ramana Maharshi's Ashramam, helped us to maintain calm throughout these events. Considering the sacred nature of the place and out of respect for his mother, we left the guest house.||||Warning to Potential Guests||||We strongly advise against staying at this guest house. The owner's behavior is unacceptable, and the overall conditions are hazardous and unsanitary. Consider safer and more reputable options like Ramana Maharshi Ashram, Yatri Nivas, or other established accommodations.

Such a sweet and lovely family. Very clean rooms. Great view of Arunachala. Delicious breakfast included. Thank you!

Good for low budget people, they have their own kind of cafe food also available. No AC in my room but we have ventilation if you open window. They charged 1200 for two, we are couples. We came on full moon day so prices are high.We face some issue with water when we opened tap lot of filthy water don't know why. Need to change mug also not looking good to me. Flush also not working properly water flowing for longer time. You can see Arunachala mountain if you came outside. You can see many foreigners in cafe and surroundings. Divinity on top of everything. Overall good experience.

My stay here was so peaceful. Away from all the noise the place is great for solo travelers and families. Clean room and toilet. With minimum facilities this place just feels like home. Sathya Cafe is just next door with breakfast, lunch and dinner (only pizza for dinner I guess). People are so kind and down to earth. Enjoyed and I highly recommend this place.

Worst place we've stayed at so far as far as cleanliness and price quality ratio are concerned and we were on a 3000km road trip . We were too tired to pack up all our things and leave so if I can help anyone not and end up in this dump. The pictures I uploaded show you a "family room"... Booking said this property was rated 8.9 and that we would have 3 double beds. It didn't even have bed covers or blanket and one towel for 5 people. Our friends stayed at an amazing resort and paid the same price as us, so it's a rip off too. In a nutshell, I wouldn't advise this place at all and would conclude that it was quite family unfriendly.
