Recently had stayed here for temple trip. The rooms are well maintained and spacious. They have ample space for car parking. The restaurant has limited food items and they tasted good. Price is very reasonable and the staffs are helpful. Overall a good place to stay.

Decent stay, good ambience and located well. The support staff was friendly and allowed us with early check in (though adjusting check out time). The hotel can be more flexible with these timings as 2pm check in doesn't look realistic all the times. Restaurant was good. Overall- highly recommend place to stay.

We booked two rooms at this hotel. The place is clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast. One minor issue was that we got an Indian-style toilet, but the staff kindly arranged for a change to a Western-style toilet for one of the room. A word of warning: the auto-rickshaw drivers outside the hotel tend to overcharge for trips to the temple.

The house keeping is not good. The pillow covers are torn n soiled. The washrooms are unhygienic. Rooms are not being serviced properly. It is very far from the bus stand and auto drivers are charging more when compared to the other places. Coming to the main point- "Restaurant Aalayam" , though it is within the premises of the hotel , the staff are very rude, serving is very late and food is not tasty..never had such a bad experience One plate breakfast is charged Rs200/- . It was pathetic ,not even worthy for the amount paid for..Plate looked full but taste was literally zero.. When asked if the remaining portion of food we haven't consumed be taken, instead of wasting then they declined. This shows the negligence of the staff towards food unlike the other hotels wherein we can take the unused portion of our paid food. Hotel is named Aalayam however "Annam parah brahma swarupam " is not followed. They don't bother even if you leave the food as it is without consuming. Neither the room service nor the restaurant phones are working in the intercom. I would rate 0 for this hotel.

Plenty of parking and very next to the last linga on the 8/10 linga tour. Night fountain is good and the view of arunachala hill is amazing. Rooms are neat and clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel premises offering decent food.

If your are really interested in booking this hotel please read the review fully. Recently I have been in this hotel for one day. And that's was worst stay in my entire life. I booked this hotel online because of Instagram marketing videos. I went to the hotel on the booking date, while entering into gate and I felt some bad smell to my nose and I thought it very common at the entrance gates some time. Then I parked the car went to desk. And I spotted an automatic room freshener which continuously splits good vibe. I thought "Oh great" no hotel has this. And we went to our room and we had our other works and temple visit. Later at night 11 pm we came to room and we felt to open the windows to get some fresh air. And here starts the real life ... THERE IS A CONTINUOUS BAD GARBAGE SMELL FROM THE WINDOWS. Which is same as I felt when I came from main entrance first time. And I check the surrounds in ground floor every thing is clean and neat. By the way I was in 3 rd floor. And somehow I thought of checking "Google maps satellite view ". There it goes I have seen a very big DUMP YARD just beside the hotel shares the same boundary wall. I realised this is the biggest dump yard of Tiruvannamalai and the Reason for a continuous air freshener in the desk. And found the reason why they giving for 1000 rs a room. Thanks to satellite view of Google maps. Now I can't cancel the room and move to another hotel. The Moral is don't go to hotel by just Instagram/youtube influencers. Do some research. Check the Google reviews properly. If any one face the same please give a like to my review. Pros: Good maintenance Large rooms Good ventilation Breakfast Buffet Car parking Cons: Hotel is in Just beside the largest dump yard of Tiruvannamalai. To hotel management: Even though you build a golden palace beside the dump yard. No one cares.

Had a great stay at Hotel Aalayam with my family! The atmosphere was peaceful, and the service was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located beside Easanya Lingam and just 2 km from the main temple, making it a perfect choice for visitors. Booking was easy through their online website, and the overall experience was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pleasant stay near the temple!
