We had lunch here. Pure vegetarian, served food in banana leaf. They charge Rs. 160 for meals, unlimited. Food taste and quality is good. Service is good. It was slightly crowded. You may find difficult for parking. They have valet parking available. Worth trying.

We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and nicely furnished. It had centralized AC with individual control in the room. The bathroom was clean with 24/7 hot water. A kettle with tea and coffee was also provided. The king-size bed was spacious and comfortable enough for two adults and two kids. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The sweet paniyaram had an outdated and old grains taste. Suppliers need to be more attentive. People who eat there, often scream the hell out using their mobile phones and management doesn't care about it. Definitley not a place for quiet dining. Price is high compared with its rivals.

Completely disappointed that a good reputed hotel like Janakiram has bad service with waiters with an attitude unbecoming of courteousness or decency. The hotel serves good food but definitely needs to train its waiters to know what it means to communicate effectively and decently. The waiter who served us in the ac hall was rude, incompetent and did not inform properly and clearly on whether some items were available more than 30 minutes into the order!!

Proximity to Tirunelveli station is a huge plus. Nearness to the junction bus stand adds to the location advantage. The rooms are of standard quality. The restaurant is excellent. Availability of rooms can be an issue, hence advised to book early.

The location is excellent and right next to bus stand and the railway station. The rooms are quite old but decent. The breakfast spread is good. Food quality should be improved as me and my wife suffered food poisoning after having dinner there.
