Hotel Palmyra Grand Inn - Tirunelveli

Very neat and clean hotel. Staffs are very kind and approachable. Wheelchair can access rest room. Lift is small. Mostly every hotel 16 or below size wheelchair easily accessible. Very spacious parking. Close to junction bus stand and railway station.

Good location near Railway Station and Bus Stand. Enough parking space and has an elevator. Rooms and bathrooms are old fashioned and could do with some modernisation. Toiletry kit is good. It has a restaurant though I didn't eat there and so can't comment on it.

Check-in was quick and easy, staff at the front desk were very welcoming. Rooms were spotless, clearly well-maintained by housekeeping.Reported a minor issue with the room, and housekeeping addressed it promptly. Finally excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and great value for money, specifically mentioning that they would definitely return for another stay due to the positive experience they had. Toilet was very very untidy, toilet doors were not working, bedsheet full of dust, floor tiles were popping up. Receptionist unresponsive, even though they showed different rooms but unfortunately same fate. Breakfast was Good

Although I enjoyed my stay at the hotel immensely and found the service to be first-rate, I am compelled to give it a 1-star rating due to a significant issue. They have a persistent garbage problem in their parking area, which has attracted rats. Unfortunately, one of these rats managed to infiltrate and damage my car, resulting in substantial repair costs.

I was booked this hotel via direct phone call on 10.03.2025 and reception person told INR.2000 including Tax for corporate scheme, but @ the time of check in there was in different person in reception and he told 2000+ Tax and I was explained with him but he is not bothering about and not ready to listen to me. Anyhow I don't have an option due to the late time I was booked the room which was he demanded the cost. As per assigned Room is ok but there is no basic infrastructure And the Heater was water leakage and the leakage water directly flashed to the power supply. So I found a hotel person who knew this heater water line issue and that line water tab was closed by the hotel person. I just opened the line due to the hot water not coming and I was facing the embracing situation for this kind of service and 0 safety for this hotel. Even the receptionist is just ignoring a customer issue. Then what is the purpose of staying at this 3rd class hotel premises with high cost. Regards D.Sasikumar

Dont book via cleartrip. Even if you have a proper confirmation voucher after paying, these guys will not allow check in. They wont even send an email stating this for us to get a refund. The reception desk person sitting in the morning is such a moron.

Rooms were neat and clean. Location was easily accessible. Reception team was good and room boys also helped for a comfortable stay.
