Mani Home Stay | Trichy

Mani's homestay is a vintage home away from home we were lucky to find. The chettinad-style property has everything you need, with a large bedroom that has been tastefully decorated with antique furniture and a spacious bathroom to accommodate two people at the same time. I travelled with my elderly mother and wanted to ensure she was comfortable and felt at home. The homestay attended to our requests like family. Stay for the hospitality, the beautiful ambience and the wonderful service. Things to note: 1. It is a 20-minuteish drive from the airport (faster without traffic). 2. Chatram Bus Stand, the Srirangam Temple and Thiruvanaikovil can all be covered in less than half an hour. Srirangam temple in less than 15 minutes. 3. The homestay can arrange airport pick-up and drop along with local tours. The travel arrangements are well-organised. 4. Two beautiful temples of Perumal and Sivan just metres away from the homestay make your visit all the more memorable. 5. It is by the Cauvery so the sun looks beautiful from here. Even during our brief stay we were transported to another time when life was simple, unhurried and peaceful :) Thanks to Janakiraman sir for his generosity and guidance and to Ashwin for his handy tips and excellent hospitality. Excited to travel again!

Had an incredible stay, truly warm and welcoming experience. The hosts were kind and the property is spacious. The food was delicious, and the service was great - they even woke up at 4.30 am to make us tea! Highly recommended!

We traveled with small children, and the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even providing late-night milk and special requests with a smile. The homemade meals were delicious and a must-try. The property is a traditional home away from home showcasing the region's rich heritage. Our stay in Mani's home stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Top stars for the service provided by the manager there, Ashwin. The rooms were clean and neat. The common areas felt very traditional and homely. The courtyard was beautiful and well maintained with lots of flowering trees. We could hear the birds and peacocks in the tranquil setting. This is certainly on our must stay list for future trips!!

If someone is planning for a home stay, without any hesitation I would strongly recommend Mani's Home Stay. This place is located in Agraharam in Kambarasampettai near Cauvery River. The home is built in a Chettinad style. The aesthetic building design, tiles, the well-maintained rooms and the Tanjore painting gives a divine feel. It's an environment friendly place with peaceful serenity with well-maintained lush garden, surrounded by trees and can experience birds chirping sounds and if fortunate you can witness the Peacock in that Agraharam lane. If you are planning for a spiritual trip in the Cauvery belt (Trichy / Kumbakonam / Srirangam and any such nearby places.), then Janakiram Sir will guide you perfectly and the hospitality is really great, and he is so grounded. Also, a special mention to young and Vibrant Operation Manager Mr. Ashwin Kumar, he is always in his toes to take care of his customer needs. His commitment to his work is commendable and I really appreciate his sincere efforts in his duty. Our family had a great homemade delicious authentic food, and I would say the food is a must try. In my 2 days stay, I have witnessed the politeness and kindness with every single person (including the house keeping staff) who is associated in that home which truly gives me an amazing feeling. I strongly recommend this place. I am looking to visit again with my extended family.

A traditional house for a day. Very nice, clean and good hospitality. Loved the ambience. The food was prepared by someone nearby which was delicious. She was very quick and flexible.
