Hotel Royal Sathyam

This hotel has recently been taken over by MS Hotel Shree. I booked a room on 14th Feb 2025 for 16th February 2025 through M/s Agoda. Subsequently, I contacted the hotel and informed about the booking. The desk officer did confirm the booking. On 16th February, 2025 when I reached the hotel, the reception officer refused to entertain the booking by Agoda and instead he said that full amount of Rs. 1800 need to be paid for the room. I tried to convince the officer but he was adamant with his point of view. His version was that they had already (just a day before) requested Agoda to close the account in the name of Royal Sathyam and if Agoda have not closed the account, it is between the customer and Agoda and the hotel is not at all concerned about that. Illiterate management and also the officer. Normally the new hotel management should give at least a week's time to Agoda to comply with the instructions and in the meantime, the hotel should honor the bookings by Agoda. Ironically, they issued the receipt for me in the name of the Hotel Royal Sathyam only. On pointing out this, the desk officer said that till the availability of new stationery they are issuing in the name of old Hotel. When the time lag is applicable to the management why it should not to booking agents. The conduct of the new management and the desk officer is deplorable and condemnable. Anyway, for any further bookings I will prefer any other hotel in Trichy instead of this illiterate hotel.

I have been coming to this hotel for the past 3 years - Business Trip and I must say that it has consistently provided excellent service and quality. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and they go above and beyond to make sure that my stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are always clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. I appreciate the attention to detail, such as the complimentary water bottles and fresh towels that are always replenished. The hotel also has a great location, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. I always feel safe and secure during my stay, thanks to the attentive security and helpful front desk staff.

Good hotel located very close to the Uchipilliayar temple. This is an old property that is maintained pretty well. The rooms are good but small. Breakfast is served. The service is a bit slow. There is a bar also, which I did not use as I was on a pilgrimage trip.

One of the worst experience... Sadly the lift was out of order for a week... Not was informed prior to booking made... No Room Service... Night shift receptionist was very rude... Rooms were ok, but bathroom horrible, leaky pipes... Overall a bad experience...

Situated below to Uthchi pillaiyar temple streets... Age old property... underground parking but little difficult only...attached bar facilities...small size rooms...need maintenance over switch boards... Had sort circuit twice due to broken plug point.. water stagnation inside washroom while bathing itself.. No chillness felt in AC even @ 16'C... We came to trichy only for temple visit... We are quiet uncomfortable with rooms, so booked other stay and checkout from here..thinking like why can't we look over some other stay..not at all worthy for 2200/-.. Highly disappointed...

Hi I'm R.S. Vijayakumar Iyer here would like give some ideas about this hotel. I'm also a Travels agent that always will book rooms for my guests in this hotel. Regarding services: Excellent service from the hotel GM and front office guy Mr Saravanan. They are very efficient and good manner persons. Regarding location: Very strategic in town and lovely for shopping. Every shopping places in walking distance. Regarding rooms: This is the sad back for the hotel. It's nice but high time to do refurbishment. Specifically the bathroom and interior. Otherwise its a perfect place for staying in Trichy town areas.

The breakfast is pathetic. Not much options. There's no attached restaurant. I did use a banquet hall and food was given to the caterers. It's okay okay. Not maintained cleanliness of utensils. Plastic small plates were used for lunch.
