Hotel Rockfort View

Situated at an almost equidistant location from both Srirangam Temple and Thiruchirapalli Railway Station, Hotel Rock Fort View truly deserves all the praise it garners. I count myself fortunate to have reserved, unwittingly though, a room in this hotel from among the countless options on offer on various travel websites, ||As its name suggests, the hotel did give a view of the Rock Fort from my room. What's more, the well-furnished bedroom was surprisingly spacious and clean. The double bed was king-size and quite comfortable. They offer good room service and keep some alcoholic, fizzy and energy drinks in the fridge apart from snacks in the form of biscuits, fritters and chips (which are chargeable) just in case.||The Rooftop restaurant is the 'most happening place' here, it seems, and it is quite affordable and bang for the buck, especially if you are a cricket fan who likes to watch a game on a big screen in the evening.||The room is opened using a big key which has a brass plate with the room number engraved on it, reminiscent of the inns and lodges of the good old times.|Do not let its non-prime-looking location dissuade you from choosing Rock Fort View, for you will miss the memorable experience of one of the best hotels at a reasonable price in this part of Tamil Nadu.|I have no hesitation in recommending Rock Fort View to anyone wishing for a comfortable sojourn in Thiruchirapalli.

One of worst hotel that we stayed ever. Room worst. Customer service worst. Especially the girl at reception. No welcome no smile. That face oh gosh. Malaysians who planned to stay there drop your plan. Invest 100 or 200 myr more take a good hotel.

I had a wonderful experience at Rockfort Trichy Hotel, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Vijay. He was extremely courteous, attentive, and professional throughout out stay. His dedication to ensuring guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience truly stands out. Whether it was assisting with room service, providing local recommendations, or ensuring all requests were met with a smile, Vijay went above and beyond.

Decent place to stay in Trichy. The staff accomodate your needs . Their rooftop restaurant has a great view and decent food. The morning buffet breakfast was good too. All in all, a good place to stay for mid range budget between 3-3.5k. Improvement needed in rooms as it is dates and a great coat of pain plus some interiors can do wonders.

Food was tasty, good price and restaurant staffs were provide well service. Other than that not good reviews. Room was good condition but room service is poor such as ironing service not provided. Room air-conditioning not well service. Can book for one night only for short break

We had a mixed experience during our stay. Firstly, I would like to compliment Mr. Gerard for his excellent service. He was courteous, allowed us to view the room beforehand, and explained everything thoroughly, which was much appreciated. However, there were several issues that need attention: 1. Room Cleanliness & Maintenance: The bedsheet was dirty, and we had to give reminders for housekeeping to clean the room. Additionally, the room door could not be locked or fixed, forcing us to use a pull-and-push technique. This was inconvenient and felt unsafe. 2. Breakfast Service: The buffet was underwhelming and did not resemble a proper continental breakfast. By 9:00 AM (though breakfast ends at 10:00 AM), most trays were empty and not replenished. Pancakes lacked honey or syrup, and there was no clear indication of additional items available for order. Staff also mentioned "closing soon" far too early, which felt unprofessional. 3. Facilities: The gym was not ready for use, and the pond was poorly maintained, appearing filthy and potentially serving as a mosquito breeding ground. On a positive note, the serene ambiance with a beautiful Buddha statue and mountainous views from the terrace stood out as highlights of the property. While I understand this is a three-star hotel, addressing these issues can significantly enhance guest satisfaction and ratings.

Spacious rooms, good food and decent service and it was absolutely value for money for the price we paid. If you are visiting Srirangam and Ucchi Pillayar, this hotel sits right at the centre with a scenic view . Toilets could be kept well. Also as other reviews mention,there is a sharp u-turn for the approach road towards hotel. Parking is limited. But the rooms and location does make up for the minor flaws this property has.
