Raaj Bhaavan Clarks Inn Chennai OMR

Booked my reception hall at Raj bhavan. Everything was organised and arranged well. Special mention to the backdrop decoration team lead by Mrs. Elizabeth. Who did a fantastic job in curating the backdrop design and other design elements as per our need She is highly professional and has a perfect design sense. Highly recommend her for all the events.

Worst experience ever. The food was terrible--tasteless, cold, and absolutely not worth the money. If you're planning to host any event here, please don't. The arrangements were very poor and the service was unprofessional. This place is only okay if you just need a place to sleep, but that's it. Definitely not worth the money. Save yourself the disappointment and choose a better hotel. Thank you hotel

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The check in was hassle-free. The rooms were spick and span. The service was good. The hotel is also located in a a busy and prime spot. My stay was extremely comfortable and luxurious, to the point where i didn't want to leave. Truly a pleasurable experience. Worth the money.

It is a disgrace to see that they do not understand the quality expected of a 3-star hotel. There has been a complete letdown. The maintenance team needs to be educated on proper cleaning standards. The photos added by the management appear to have been taken during the hotel's opening, as the current state is in very poor condition. Check out the pics I attached. The trash was not covered with plastic bags, and the bathroom was gross. They gave a water bottle, a brush, and soap. No towels, I had to get them myself from reception! It's not even a star hotel.

The service is so worst that they took more than half an hour to bring just the hot water and had to tell 3 staffs to bring it. They should definitely have to work on the behaviour and responsibility of the staff working in the restaurant cos they don't care about the service. Definitely would not suggest people to go for dining.

Decent hotel near OMR Road, close to Chennai One IT SEZ. I stay here for every time for my office visit in Chennai. One must not miss their complimentary breakfast

During our recent trip to Chennai most of the hotels that we shortlist got sold out and that's when we came across Raaj Bhavan Clark's In. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and our experience was excellent. Right from check in to check out everything was smooth. The security at the entrance, the staff at the reception, the housekeeping staff, restaurant staff and breakfast staff everyone was so professional and friendly. Their check in time is 2 PM but since ours was an early morning flight, we reached Chennai airport by 10 am. I called the hotel to check if early check in would be possible and they were totally ok with that and allowed us to check in early without even charging us for it. That was very unexpected and I was so impressed with their hospitality. Room was well equipped with all basic amenities and 24/7 hot water facility. Coming to the food, it's a pure veg place and we tried Parota Kurma, Mushroom Biriyani, Gobi 65, Paneer Fingers, paneer butter masala, lemon coriander soup and roti. Parota kurma was excellent, Mushroom biriyani was good, Gobi 65 wasn't that great, Paneer fingers were excellent again, Paneer butter masala was good and lemon coriander soup was good. Only issue we faced was with the confusion- like we ordered 2 Parota kurma set and was billed for the same but only one arrived and similarly we ordered lemon coriander soup 1/2 and only one arrived. But yes on calling them us they did send the missing dish quickly In the complementary breakfast they had good spread. There was cut fruits, juice, coleslaw sandwich, poori and green peas curry, idli, 3 times of chutney and sambar, paratha, bread butter jam, corn flakes, veg stir fry. I absolutely loved the spread especially poori and green peas, paratha and the chutneys. In live counter you get dosa also. The staff at the breakfast counter is so active and friendly. Over all an amazing experience, we absolutely enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.

Visited Raaj Bhavan and did not stay here. The food is good and the service is excellent. The restaurant is on the main road, there is a space to park the car on the main road. Ambience is kind of ok.
