SRM Hotel Tuticorin

This hotel is tucked away almost near the coast so that you get a view of the sea and the fishing boats navigating the waters right from your room. The rooms are decent, the rest rooms are clean and the service is really good. The restaurant serves decent fare at jacked up prices. Basically we were looking for a decent hotel to stay in Tuticorin and this hotel served it well.

"My stay at this pathetic excuse for a hotel was nothing short of a scam. What we paid versus what we got? An insult to basic intelligence. The place is a crumbling wreck, masquerading as a 'property.' Torn door laminates hanging like a horror set, furniture that smells like it was dragged from a landfill, and corridors that scream abandonment and neglect. It felt less like checking into a hotel and more like trespassing into a condemned building. The fact that this dump dares to charge premium rates is not just laughable -- it's offensive. This place doesn't need renovation. It needs demolition, followed by a sincere apology to every guest who's ever stepped foot here."

There is no hot water, I visited this hotel in 2023 and faced the same issue and it's almost 2025 and it still has not been fixed. Food and breakfast spread are okay. Hygiene could be improved, the extra bed and the mats are sandy and dusty. They did not have shower caps. Room service is alright. The location is amazing, there is a great view and it's very accessible to most places.

I books purist based on the brand name SRM. But Very bad experience Will never come back We arrived late night .. wanted to shower. They had only one bath towel. Need to wait to wait 19 min to get additional towels There is marking of hot / cold in shower knob. Spent more than 5 minutes to figuring out. As water was vey luke warm and I was bit confused. Warmsred a lot time as well water figuring it out The bathroom mat was utter dirty. We got that changed after waiting for another 10 minutes The Ac unit was making so much noise ( like a train running) could not sleep. We complained . They said they would change the room. But more than 25 min wait ..no sign of moving us to a quiet room. So as we were tired we hit the sack. Sleepless nught.. not with it . Never come back again. The night table top was bit sloppy ( not flat) ..weird .. if you leave something on the top of the table, it woikd slide and fall on the floor ..

Nice hotel, clean room, helpful & polite staff. |I highly recommend buffet breakfast ||The hotel is in main city area and lots of options around to purchase. We can reach the bypass very soon!!!

Excellent facilities. Good staff stayed here 3 times in past 4 months.

Good room and hospitality. Reception hospitality was good. Mr.Siluvai and Miss Rasika communication was good. It was quite convincing mode.
