KANI RESIDENCY

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist. The hospitality was top-notch, and every little detail was taken care of. A peaceful and pleasant environment made our time here truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Rooms are maintained cleaner and well. Staffs were supportive and respectful people. Food also was delicious. Place is also there in heart of the city. It's easy to access other parts of the city from there easily. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

I never seen such a worst hotel service like Kani residency, they have given non washable bed sheets and towels, room service is very very poor, it is totally unworth for the charges what we paid, complimentary breakfast also worthless. Basic compliment items like paste, bathing soap, shampoo also given on request and requirement only, A/C not working properly, and they had problem in TV channels, all channels are not displaying. Room service very very poor, moreover all food item prices also very high.

I was told that this hotel is one of the best in Tuticorin but to my surprise it was not upto the mark. Rooms are spacious but the restrooms are not clean. Lots of cockroaches roaming around freely and some entered the room as well. Another point to be noted is that they have only shower in the bathing area so if you have an elderly person in ur group, it will be very difficult for them to take bath. The management is unbelievably money minded with "0" customer focus. I asked for an extension of 1 to 2 hrs of time for which they demanded to pay more than 3k. I would have not even bothered if it was reasonable but inspite of me explaining the situation where we had kids and elderly ppl in the group, they were only focused on how much i am gonna pay. The way they spoke made me feel like I am asking for a free stay hence i paid the exorbitant price and extended my stay. One good thing here is that the restaurant food was good otherwise I will not recommend this place for stay especially if you have a family. They are not flexible and this will end up in a tense situation which will make ur travel unpleasant. Pls choose a better property.

UNSAFE FOR FAMILY: First they gave us a room no 1002. Cockroaches were in bed and bathroom. After fighting with the receptionist only they alloted other room no 2020. It took them 2 hours to allot them a new room. Until then we were staying in cockroach room. During night, people were smoking in the corridor, drinking liquor and making too much noise. Some people were asking me and my family for matchsticks to light their cigarette. It seems to me that its a hotel for people to drink liquor and smoke. PLEASE DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING WITH FAMILY.

I visited on 26.04.2025, Food was in amazing taste and quality.. one of the best veg and non veg hotels in tuticorin.

The room clean, neat and comfortable. Especially the service was top notch worth to mention the names of Britto Front office Manager, who came for immediate help when requested. The service and veg food was very nice. This place is definitely worth the price we pay and is highly recommended for a short stay, or for a staycation.

Had lunch here. Though it is a bakery nice Thali was served. Met many officers of TNGB. One RM was remembering my FI session at Salem 15 years back. Tasty Thali
