Chitra Lodge

Due to poor availability of lodging facilities at Thoothukudi, Chithra Lodge is one of them. The rooms are very old, poorly maintained, smelly corridors, less hygienic. No wifi facility, even charging a high amount as rent according to the quality of the rooms. The only plus point is that the location of the hotel and having their own restaurants in the same building.

Very poor service. Rooms are ver dusty and uncleaned. Toilets, am unable to enter inside. Such a worst phenol smell. They charged me 1544, but they proved room with unwashed bed / pillow covers. And no bed sheet was provided even after so many requests. Unsecured wires, ans so many bad experience. I felt thet I entered a scary banglow...

This is a very economic lodge. Moderate management of rooms, semi-skilled staff, and a calm ambience. The main perks are that it situates perfectly at the heart of the town. They are lucky or they have gotten two restaurants, one veg and another one for non-veg; just in front of them.

Great stay for people needing low prices close to the city...decent rooms, good air conditioning, good service. Overall very nice for a one night stay.

Rooms aren't clean that much only suitable for bachelors since the wine shop is above the hotel and the smell is surrounded by the rooms. Rooms are also not much furnished. Even in the center of the city rooms are not worth it. It needs to be better. 2.5/5 Not Recommended #reviewWithArul

Receptionist men and women are always angry on their face,as of they don't want let the customer check in,they don't know how to behave and talk to customer and worst service, ordered coffee they got in afternoon, really worst in service, rooms are bad in condition beds are not clean, cockroaches were roaming around,it stings a lot like gutter,totally waste of taking room here, really whoever book here you will loose your money,waste of time,I will never recommend to anyone here. The manager has to take incharge of it or else it's 100% gutter. Friends and family please don't use this lodge. For God's sake Thank you Please save your money

Rooms are very clean. Neat and smooth. They provide water bottle for every room. Worth for single room 600. Little disappointment they didn't provide TV for single rooms also Bathroom flex tank was water leakage..
