Abirami Rayal Residency Temple Stay

We traveled with family and friends for a function and these rooms were booked by the hostess. Very compact room. Just a cot with mattress is enough to fill the room. The mattress was hard as rock. Just a person walkable space around the cot. Very unhygienic rooms. We can see cockroaches crawling and our bags infested with ants. As soon as u open the door, the mosquitoes just rush in. After seeing the insects our kids were scared to sleep. The bedsheet and comforter or whatever they call, it was very dirty. Thank God, we carried our own bedsheets. The cot, area for bags below the tv were very dusty and I had to use wipes to clean it. The kettle looked liked a old toilet mug, rusted inside and dirty. Don't even dare to look behind the curtains, u will lose ur sleep. I think it's been years since they have cleaned the windows. Bathrooms were ok, still can find bugs flying. Hospitality at worst. We asked for extra bed. The person who carried the mattress and just threw at the floor with floor creating loud sound and scaring kids. The mattress was dusty and torn, when requested to clean it, he just threw 2 torn bedsheets. And told it's enough to cover it. We happened to look at the back and found old cardboard boxes with torn bedsheets thrown in. There is no parking for car, we have to park the car away from hotel on the road. I wonder how come people give good rating with such horrible environment or its just us who faced this ( I don't think so after seeing unclean windows). Since we checked in during midnight, we were unable to check for another hotel options and were forced to spend here.Unfortunately I missed to click pics as dealing with kids uneasiness was majorly time consuming in the room. This hotel is big no for families travelling with kids especially and for people looking for basic hygiene. This is my first review about a hotel and learnt a lesson not to trust google reviews.

horrible hotel to stay..Room.is completly dusty ..Room full of cockroaches... blankets are 10 yrs old and torn ..bed has blood stains ..extra bed has vomiting stains and completly torn one..no parking facility..

The only cheap and best lodge in Madurai. Foreigners used to stay here often. Staff are so friendly. Car mini bus parking available. Home food you can order in nearby home...pandiammal home food. Laundry opposite shop. Another laundry u clean is door pickup delivery. Brahmin pure veg gowri hotel in 100 mtrs. Atm is next building. This place may look like interior but this is the only place with all inter and outer aminities. For any support just you contact manager. Manager will help you.

There's no geyser in the rooms. Room space is quite limited. The guy at the reception is quite unprofessional and will rip you off at the end. If you are looking for rooms to book for your wedding guests, do not go there. Better to go to professionally run hotels. The price difference is just marginal, hardly 10%, but you will end up paying more here.

Abirami Royal Residency is located at busy streets of SS colony. The staffs are very courteous. The room is very spacious and well maintained. Even wifi is also available. It is close to bhramana kalyana mandapam and in walkable distance. There is no food facility available inside this Residency, but the security staff fetch you good food from outside. Also services like swiggy and Zomato are available. The room is air conditioned and and having a television to having TV too. But there is a scope to improve the bed quality and also the mattresses. The towel quality need to be improved. But the room is worth for the money paid. Overall I enjoyed the stay at abirami Royal Residency.

*NOT A HOMESTAY. They advertise themselves as a home stay on MakeMyTrip, but they are a lodge of sorts. I made a huge mistake booking here, taking family members. No proper road access for cars, no sufficient parking. Their photos don't match their rooms. Only bachelors go stay here.

This hotel is a nice place to stay. The terrace has a very good view of a garden. Also, the manager Mr. Murugan is very helpful and cordial.
