Hotel SKTC Grand Palace

Place May be OK for someone who can tolerate anything. Toilet had a big opening toward the sky. No hot water. Reception says that the geyser works , and I dont think it did to me. Reception number not displayed in room. The number displayed on google maps kept on ringing when i called for an emergency. There were a bunch of drunken men fighting all night at the hallways. Unable sleep or step out. physically had to go to the reception to find the staff happily asleep, oblivious of all the fighting. Not wheelchair accessible.

Hotel had a bar and entire night the commotion and noise was bad. Bathroom had stains and flush was not working in my parents room. They take payment in advance so that you cannot escape. The only three plus is genset backup for power, lift for elders and ample car parking. I see lot of elders staying, but now better places have sprung up nearby so I won't recommend this place to family people with kids and even decent people. There is no restaurant in walking distance and this place has no service. Even for a good coffee you need to go a long distance

Rooms renovated and good. Came with family . Very spacious car parking area and good ventilation . Good staff

The rooms very clean and tidy. AC , Hot water was available. Has big car parking space. Has minor issues like Flush was not working. Water from pipes were clear but also had stones. The service was really good. They provided us alternate room when AC was found to be not working. Even for the flush problem an extra room was provided immediately.

Room was really pathetic. We were there for a night stay and the room provided to us was stinking badly. Bed matress was with hairs all over . Washrooms was not at all cleaned not even buckets. Hot water was not there. Very poor service and maintenance by staff on a well built facility in good ambience

The place is located on the asanur main road. However, traveling is tough unless you have your own vehicle. One has to wait for a long time to catch a bus or auto. And the fare is around 200 per trip by auto/share auto which is very costly. Talking about the hotel, rooms were decent enough to stay. No TV recharge was done by the management. The geyser was not working and the bathroom faucet was leaking with a bad smell. The water was not good. Even for drinking water they charge us extra. The extra bed provided was torn at many places. No wifi was provided and they said it will work only on the ground floor. No tea shops nearby and no vegetarian food will be available within the restaurant. In fact the restaurant will be empty all the time. Not a worthy place to stay unless you have any emergency and run out of rooms elsewhere.

Platform is better than this room. Bedsheet not washed. Bed Spread had multiple stains. Room not cleaned properly. Fungus formation on the walls. Was a very bad choice.
