Alakan Residency

Hotel is maintained neat. Parking place is bit tight and need to squeeze in your car. Clean Laundry.... Good Place.The rooms were neat and clean, the place was silent,You can enjoy your privacy during the stay before or after visiting the temple.

Very basic amenities. There is a lift. Rooms have ACs, TV, intercom connection to reception, need to empty a bucketful of cold water to get hot water. Washbasin was in the room itself and not the bathroom. Neither was it properly cleaned. Towels, soap bars for bath, a WC. Maybe there is parking behind the hotel for cars. Walkable distance from Thiruchendur Murugan temple. No restaurant inside. F&B has to be outside.

I booked many times this residency. We booked bulk no of rooms for my brother wedding. At that time this was the best residency. After that I visited 4 times. Service very worst. No hot water facility. Centipede was there once. Hereafter I won't visit and refer this residency to anyone

Main advantage of the hotel is the location. 10 mins walkable distance to the temple. They charge 2000 for AC room. Cleanliness wise they can improve a lot. Bes spread and bed sheet looks little stain. Otherwise staffs are good and helpful. My rating foe the hotel(cost n quality wise) : 70/100

We stayed in Alakan residency tiruchendur, service is bad and there is no room service. Even there is no glass to drink water. Also water provided in plastic Jug, we need to lift and drink only. There is no 24 hours availablity room. You need to check out at 12. Most of the hotels in tiruchendur allow for 24 hours. No response and heater only available at 9AM. If we bring kids means how can we manage. No customer support or response. Even there is no phone number mentioned in phone in the room

Congested parking and untidy rooms makes me to give 2 star. Someone parked in front of my car and I have to wait until he moved out. Further, the receptionist seems very strange. No smiles or greetings from him. I booked through "Make my trip" and may be that is the reason I hope. There are better rooms available nearby. Please double check before you book.

Pretty decent stay near to temple. Good Rooms and nice staffs

Rooms are good but the wash room facility is not good and dirty and smells a lot inside the rest room and not hygiene.
