The overall experience in this hotel was surprisingly high and unexpected for a place like Theni . The property has an excellent swimming pool - however it is located right in the middle and hence there would be no privacy for the pool users. ||The room size is pretty decent with an efficient AC and a good bathroom with decent fittings. The restaurant food quality is above average and the complimentary breakfast provided is ample in both quality and quantity. ||The staff -particularly the restaurant staff are very attentive and efficient. The property has ample parking space.||We extended our stay and dropped the plan for staying in Meghamalai. This is an excellent property to stay and cover Meghamalai .

Since we were not expecting such an excellent property in a place like Theni , we were pleasantly surprised and extended our stay by one more night to cover Meghamalai. Dear Management, I am writing to formally express my deep concern and disappointment regarding a series of unacceptable incidents during my recent stay at The Riviera Hotel, Theni. 1. Violation of Guest Privacy: Hotel staff entered my room while I was inside, without following proper protocol or giving prior notice. This is a serious breach of guest privacy and safety standards. 2. Lack of Safety Awareness: When I raised questions about the safety lock guidelines, even the manager on duty, Mr. Gopi, was unaware of the procedures. The technician who was called to assist openly admitted he was new and offered no help. 3. Inadequate Response from Management: Despite reporting the issue at the front desk and directly to Mr. Gopi, there was no apology or any attempt to address the situation professionally. The behavior displayed by the staff was dismissive and lacking in basic hospitality standards. 4. Ignored Written Complaint: I also sent an email to your internal mailbox, which was acknowledged as received. However, I have yet to receive a response or formal apology, which further reflects the lack of accountability. This level of negligence, especially concerning guest safety and privacy, is entirely unacceptable--more so for a hotel that appears new and is marketing itself as a premium experience. I expect a written apology and a clear explanation of how you intend to address these serious concerns, both immediately and in the long term, to ensure no other guest experiences the same.

It had a small attachment which was like a make do fountain. This swimming pool has to be undoubtedly the strong point of the resort 3. Rooms are tiny and they were sticky due to improper moping perhaps, the restroom was good enough with a huge spider but still good 4.
