We stayed at this hotel as the main hotel, the Beach Bungalo, did not have rooms available. Initially we were a little bit upset by this as Coconut Ally does not have a pool and we had to walk 500m to the other hotel to use theirs which in 40 degree heat was a little uncomfortable. However the manager and staff really went the extra distance to make our stay enjoyable. The food cooked by Saravanan was excellent, and the manager followed up to make sure we had everything to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms was a little dark but it had an indoor and outdoor bathroom and an extra single bed. Overall we enjoyed our 3 days.

Nice place with excellent service and great food! Tranquebar is a small place and all major attractions are within 2 kms. All the staff members are very helpful and accommodative. You can also visit the Velankanni church since it's less than 50kms away. So a good weekend getaway. Our stay was memorable, thanks Neemrana!

It was an excellent place to stay. The facilities in the room were amazing and most importantly, very clean. The dining was away from the rooms which was really good. Food was the best part in addition to all of the above. A special mention about their chef whose food was really tasty.

If there was a ZERO star, thats what I would have given this place..This is a "non hotel" as they claim, is the truth. The only good things are the staff and the proximity to the beach. The rooms are super tiny and the beds are very narrow. We had to ask multiple times to get a room with a queen bed. The bathroom has mould in it and the floors and walls are stained real bad. There were lots of lizards running around... eeekkkksss!!! We could totally hear everything that was going around us that made it really hard for us to sleep but the ABSOLUTE WORST thing that happened early morning was - One of the lizards fell from the roof and got caught in the fan and splattered all over the room. We also found a dead bat in the middle of the room in the morning.. We rushed out of the room at 6AM in the morning as we couldn't bear to be in that room. We paid 10K per night and this hotel room was worse than 1000Rs hotel room. The beach was filled with broken bottles all over, people pooping in the water and also groups of men drinking... Overall this place was a HORRIBLE and TERRIBLE experience

Stayed on Oct 11. Small size property, The room size was more than sufficient for us and it has two wash rooms. There were two cots, one of the cot size was 4 feet and another one was 2.5 feet. We paid around 8K but didn't even get a queen size cot. No sound proof, I could not sleep till midnight due to noise from my neighbour's room. Window curtains are decorated with lungi and side tables for our cot were laundry boxes, don't know what we could do with that. No wardrobe or shelf available to keep your personal things. You can see the neighbour's house terrace from your open shower area. This property is surrounded by residential houses. The beach is very close to the property, but don't go there in the early morning, people will be taking their morning rituals on the beach, and it is not safe at night. Main tourist spots are located within 500 metres. Overpriced and not value for money. Totally disappointed. Only plus was the service provided by their staff and the food. I highly appreciate each and every staff member for their patience, Food prices are directly proportionate to their room tariff.

The hotel is well located relatively close to the beach and the Danish historical attractions. Our room was good, the food (particularly Indian) was superb and service was outstanding. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work and overall was expensive for what we received.

One of the calmest places to stay at surrounded by beautiful beach and Danish architecture with an amazing staff and the food. Property is at a walkable distance from the Danish Fort, Goldsmith street and beach. A must stay property whether you're a couple or a solo traveller.

Right from the time we planned to stay at neamrana coconut alley, Vicky (incharge person) has helped us right from booking to check out after our wonderful stay at this property. Rooms were comfortable with necessary amenities. Waking up to the sounds of peacocks was an experience. Very friendly and courteous staff who served us some amazing dishes. Thanks to Chef Saravanan who curated the dishes the way we wanted. Walkable distance to the beach and harbour view point which is a must visit place. Overall an amazing place to stay and I would recommend this place to whoever wishes to explore this unexplored place Tarangambadi (tranquebar).
