Comfortable stay. Good reception. Very warm and helpful staff. Clean room. Clean bathroom. A good budget stay. The restaurant serves tasty food. The manager Mr. Ramesh Babu attended to us with genuine recommendations ( Mukkani ice cream and Black rice halwa is a must try).

Very clean and well kept rooms.. the rooms are spacious and all the area are easily accesible as its in the center of the city.. there is a vegetarian restaurant and the food is lovely and you can enjoy authentic south indian food .. courteous staff and its really a pleasant.. i would higly recommend it for family stay

The hotel is right on the main road and approx 3 kms to big temple. The location was good. We had an issue with the check-in. The check-in time was 11am but even after reaching at 3.30pm we were told the rooms were not ready. We wanted 2 rooms but then they told us that they can give only 1 room. After waiting for 30 mins or so we were given both the rooms. Since we had booked through makemytrip, we reported checkin issue to them and then finally Treebo called up and allotted the rooms. |The rooms were spacious and clean. The restaurant staff was good and cooperative. The breakfast menu is limited but good. Overall an average stay.

Good spacious, and clean rooms in affordable pricing. We travelled from Bangalore and stayed in the hotel overnight in two rooms. Whatever we needed were immediately provided. Staff is really good and helpful.

La Orchid is one of the latest, I dare say boutique, hotels in Thanjavur. It opened up the local hospitality industry outside of the regular central business locations. Very well designed, refreshingly furnished with good food and professional service. Unique only to this hotel, amongst the other new ones is its ample and safe parking facilities and good security.

Basic and tired rooms, which lack ventilation and natural light. Breakfast is very basic, and comes with many payable add ons - like having to pay for eggs. Large parking lot, which is good. Ten restaurant at the hotel serves very spicy food, with very lack lustre service.

Over all- it's an attempt to make the hotel premium. However, it is now. Walls too thin, very noisy. Shower in the room showered everywhere except on the person standing below it. No hand towels. Crumpled bedding (reason being laundry holiday) . Front desk staff preoccupied all the time with god knows what. Overall. Below average for expectation.

Nice rooms and well maintained washrooms. Staff were co-operative and respectful. Food was great too. Highly recommended.
