OYO 7234 Hotel Sumi Palace

Unprofessional staffs is their biggest turn down. The room was excellent. The food was good too.. Had some issues.. Upon check in, no proper information was provided. Ordered room dining and found a mosquito in the soup. Even after informing, they didn't replace it. Had to ask a waiter to get it changed for us. When tried to reach housekeeping for room cleaning, no one picked up the call. No response from the reception either. Upon checkout when asked, Ms. Geetha in the reception said there's some fault in reception land line and housekeeping number has been removed. And when complained about the mosquito in the soup, she literally asked us why didn't we come down to the restaurant from the room to meet the manager! Other than the pathetic professionalism and highly tough to reach phones, the hotel is perfect if you're gonna just use the room.

Good property for a reasonable price. They had a broken phone and health faucet when we checked in. When complained , these were immediately replaced. The guy in the reception should be taught to smile at the guests. Breakfast served tasted nice. The hotel's inhouse restaurant is expensive as per Tanjore town standards.

Good hotel at reasonable price. Located very near to new bus stand. Well maintained. Worth for money.Also there is a personal locker facility in the room. Staff's responds to customers quickly.
