Lakshmi Hotel

The worst restaurant I have visited in Thanjavur. The biryani was made like ready-made gravy with rice with no flavors. Paneer gravy is average. Fried rice is ok but the scheswan fried rice has no flavor. The dragon chicken was good and the meals also is good. Overall a disappointing experience.

Had planned my kids first bday recently and I had a set of expectations from the hotel since the ambience was one of the best in Tanjore location and had no idea about food. But to my great surprise the menu and availability was well planned and taste was best in class. Moreover the team and their hospitality was so pleasing and they supported well all along the event. Thanks Mr Pradeep and your team made our best day the bestest one.

Centrally located. Street food as well as supermarkets few meters from hotel. AC and hot water worked well. Courteous reception and restaurant staff. Housekeeping was good rooms cleaned on time and I asked for extra soap etc always replenished.

Only positive about this hotel is the Location and rooms are Oh k but over priced when compared to near by hotels Food is the Worst and the morning breakfast and the persons serving dont know what they have to do We came for breakfast at 8.30 and all the food are cold, salty and for asking we have to wait or go and call near by No one will ask what we want

The worst ever place to stay. Its not a 4-star hotel. ROBBING by projecting itself as a 4-star hotel with no facilities. ||Dont get fooled by the photos and false commitment. For business people and decent travelers who expect comfortable stay, this is a very cheap place with false looks. ||I was charged 5000+gst for a Single AC room. I checked in believing it has standards of a 4-star hotel. but its just up-to 1-star hotel mark. ||1. Air Conditioner was not working. ||2. No water from Tap.||3. No water for toilet also. such a disgusting place.||4. No responsible service or reply from management||They get money and let people in low class rooms and when asked - they didn't take any responsibility. ||when I was waiting to raise a higher level complaint, many other guest were in line before and after me with same complaints. ||but they gave no response but continued collecting money.||Beware of such fraudsters.||||- Karthick

Excellent in all category Taste great, Fried Rice must try one. Chapati so softer. Mushroom masala still watering in my mouth. Love to visit again.

Worst experience. I am a traveller and in my experience, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. They promised 4800 per room while checking in l, but charged 5300 plus taxes at the end. We had a big argument about this since there were shift changes of staff. Finally, the reception CCTV was checked to find them guilty. The irony is, even after that, they said they ll give 200 rs discount. We fought to make them bill 4800, at the end. We have to mention about the manager ( A lady). Who's not fit for the job. She thinks she's playing smart with words. Made us all feel embarrassed and awkward, by directly questioning us if we got extra person to stay without charges. Such a rude behaving lady. We had been the only guest that stayed in the hotel for the night, & if this staff quality continues, they can soon shut this down.

Awesome place to stay The hotel is located about 750 mtrs from the railway station and cane be reached by foot. The check in was super fast and I was impressed by it especially because I reached at 7 am after an overnight train journey. The room had twin bed which is never to my liking. Also the beds were quite small in size like the one you find in ships. Nevertheless the mattress were comfortable and I had a good sleep. The room was spacious and the ambiance was fantastic. The breakfast spread was good with a right mix of Local and continental food spread. Enjoyed it quite well and was healthy and sumptuous which took care of me to start the day. In the night I ordered Grilled fish with Lemon garlic sauce and it was mindblowing the least I expected in Thanjavur. Now some of the things which could have been better: 1. The TV had one channel running. I called the reception who promised to promptly send somebody in but nobody turned up 2. The bathroom toiletries did not have a hair conditioner and moisturiser , both was thoroughly missed by me in this climate and I was expecting it given that I booked a luxury room.
