Hotel Valli

Such a peaceful place. Situated away from the busy roads and shops. Clean bedding and towels were provided. The hotel was very clean. A little dated, but the furniture and decor suited the ambience. Staff were very friendly and helpful We had breakfast, which set us up for a day cycling to our next destination.

Our stay at Hotel was very peaceful as is just out of the way of the noisy traffic but still right in the town. The rooms are a little bit old fashioned which I liked and everything was clean and tidy and a reasonable price. The breakfast was also good. I would definitely stay again.

The best stay I ever had in such an affordable price. Hotel Valli is a peaceful place away from the hustle. The rooms are very clean the property itself gives u a positive vibe. One can even spot peacocks behind the property if u get that back rooms. Overall a very good and peaceful experience.

It's not suitable for family. We had stayed in the hotel for one day with my one year baby and we request hotel staff for a cup of hot water to make powder milk for my baby, he refused to give the same. After that I went to nearby railway station and bought the same. I really disappointed for the way they are behaving. They are collecting non AC room rent Rs.950/- per day but they won't give a cup of hot water for one year kid. Also, the room is very conjusted it's a small in size and old building the bathroom tup is dirty. Also, we request two hours extra time to check out the room according to catch our train, whereas the receptionist said only one hour time will be given otherwise you have to pay one day extra rent like that. He is behaving very rude. We are very disappointed.

This is our second stay at Valli. We stayed here during the last week of January 2025, in a standard non a/c double bedroom rate of which was nominal - Rs.950/- per day including GST. We were told there were double bed non a/c rooms of a little bigger size priced somewhere around Rs.1232/- per day. Mr Ramkumar at the reception was cordial. We could not use hot water as it was available only after 5 a.m & we had to leave early for our temple visits. We were provided with soaps and towels. The room was neat. Ambience of the hotel is serene. Missed the peacocks though! Will definitely stay here in near future too & recommend to others too.

Walkable distance from Tanjore railway station and prices is affordable and service is good. Rooms were near and clean . This property covered by full of trees and looks beautiful to relax. Washrooms are good. Bedsheets has to be upgraded. Rest everything is good.

Nice hostel, simple but all needed (clean room, good location and sympathic staff) for a enjoyable stay in Thanjavur
