Hotel Pandiyar Residency

We went here today, through locating through Google map.. and i must say it is a ZERO LEVEL GRADE hotel.. Not even worth.. We were through our own four-wheeler vehicle and located this hotel through google map.. when we searched, explored and saw the rooms inside - it was totally a mess, worst and un-hygienic.. Not maintained at all. All lights and fans cable were coming out.. Washrooms hygiene level is negative We returned at once and i was forced to leave this review as its really worst hotel No proper parking space for hotel.. Worst I would request my fellow beings and people, if you are in Thanjavur - Please Never visit here

I recently stayed at this property and was quite disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the place is expensive and does not live up to the charge. The bathroom was dirty, and the flush didn't work. For non-AC rooms, you have to climb 4 floors, which is highly inconvenient. The bedroom smelled bad, and the mattress was dirty, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. Unfortunately, I paid the money before checking the rooms. I would strongly recommend choosing any other place over this one.

Very worst room.no lift,no service,no space in rooms. Pls don't go to this hotel.

After booking the room in online today late night hours, later we went to hotel padiyar residency they tell us to cancel the online booked room, telling that we are not taking online booking only offline booking available ..... Then we are tried to cancel the booked online room, but not cancelling and also not re funding the money ..... Due to late night, We again booked the room today, and they accepted only cash ....... They did fraud to us... Don't book hotel pandiyar room in online or offline......... Waste of your money and time....... Worst rooms are there...... No lift...... You cannot stay with your family members....... They are cheating tourists..... Worst staff.....

Standard A/C room is ridiculously small. Just enough size for a double bed and a tiny table. Washroom is okay but not that great. Won't recommend for family/elderly people since the rooms are on the 2nd floor and there's no elevator. It's a bar attached hotel, but didn't feel any nuisance because of it. Virtually, there's no car parking facility since they share the same area with a film theater which is on the same building. The only upside of this hotel is the distance to the Big Temple. Just have a few steps and you're at the big temple. Think of this room as a dormitory + A/C and you'll be fine.

Rooms are very small and average size beds. Price is too high for an A/C rooms while compare to other Hotels. There is a weird smell in the rooms. I would not suggest this place for family or aged or disabled people because there is a Bar in side of the building and steps are very big and also no Lift in the building.

I booked this hotel online via Goibibo one week ahead of my stay. Hotel people called on the day of arrival when we were on the way and informed rooms are not available. And asked us to find other hotels. They should come out of online platforms if they unable to manage properly.

The hotel is close to the big temple. It's hardly 500m to the temple entrance. The rooms are small but enough for 1 or 2 day stay. For the amount we pay it is quite alright considering we still get luxuries of AC within the room and this in itself is a big advantage. This hotel is very much affordable for a quick stay. Don't expect it to be spotlessly clean but it is clean enough for family to stay.
