Hotel Oriental Towers

Rooms are larger but average maintenance. Some tiles are broken, switches and bathroom fittings are also broken or not working. But nice car parking available. If management invest on fixing issues then rating would be 4. Not sure why AC rooms are too expensive than deluxe rooms (more than 1000). Additional bed they are asking 500 which is worst or cheating by reception person. Please fix all. Thanks

It's a really old hotel, yes the decor and facilities are outdated but it does the job. Nice hot showers, safe, cool and spacious room. Yeah the blankets and bed needs to be replaced, maybe a mosquito repellent would be nice. I had the chance to talk to the owner, he is really a passionate guy. I am sure he will renovate this place and make it shiny. This was passed on from his father who built it to him

I could barely tolerate staying here for a few hours--it was a complete waste of money. The rooms are in terrible condition, with old, unclean bedsheets, a strong odor, broken walls and chairs. Mosquitoes are everywhere, making it even worse. When I raised my concerns with the management, they simply said all non-AC rooms are like this. I strongly advise against coming here, especially with family, as it will ruin your entire day. This place is mentioned as 3 star hotel, but my experience was far away from it

Location of this hotel is good.but room service is very very poor.no phone ,found empty liquor bottle present in room.light and switch hanging,no changing of bedsheet, no bell etc negative feedback from my side.Avoid with family

Great place to stay with good parking. It has restaurant and nearby there are good hotels too. Very near to temple and palace. Will definitely stay again next time. Very safe and good place to stay. Employees are too good. Reception person is very nice and frndly. Thanks a lot

It's a good hotel for stay but don't expect too much with the facilities. It's very basic and provides old vintage look. Good entrance and look for photography. The reception area is beautiful. Overall a good option for basic requirements.

Our recent stay at the hotel was disappointing, to say the least. The property is in poor condition and shows a lack of maintenance and service. It seems that all the online reviews and photos are outdated, likely taken five to six years ago. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel. We stayed for two days with our family (eight adults and two children). While the exterior and the front desk give a decent impression, the reality beyond that point is quite different. 1. The front desk staff was preoccupied with their phone and failed to acknowledge us for several minutes until I had to draw their attention. 2. Upon arrival, we struggled with heavy luggage and found no staff available to assist us from the parking area to our room on the sixth floor. 3. We were required to carry our complimentary water bottles from the front desk to our room. 4. The bathrooms were unclean, prompting us to request a room change. 5. Hot water was available only during the early morning hours and only after we specifically requested it. 6. The room had broken light switches and a noisy fan. 7. We received only one towel per room; after asking for a second, we eventually got it. 8. We were instructed to remove an unnecessary single bed from our room ourselves. The staff mentioned, "Please take the single bed outside, or you will be charged." This should have been handled during housekeeping. 9. The bedding was not clean, and the blankets were dirty. 10. The corridors featured broken tiles, adding to the overall disrepair. 11. The swimming pool was out of service, completely empty, and had become a dumping ground. Overall, this experience fell far short of our expectations, and we would advise others to consider alternative accommodations.

I dont understand why the owners are not modifying the rooms. It is a great place to stay. The only problem i found was the service, they were not changing the bedsheets and not cleaning the rooms properly. And they should modify the rooms little bit. Otherwise it is a great place to stay at Tanjore.
