HOTEL GREEN PALACE

If you are looking for a swanky place. Skip this. This is not a hotel. This is more like an apartment with bedrooms, dining room, kitchen etc., Price is moderate compared to hotels and I found it to be cheaper than a proper hotel. We stayed here as a family of 4 with our pet. Rented a 2 bedroom for 2 days. Rooms were reasonably clean. Hot water was available in one bathroom. Functional AC in both bedrooms. The interior design is a bit weird with tiled walls in all the rooms. The linen was laundered, but not spotless. They looked worn out. Hotel staff are very courteous and helpful. If you need something, ask them and they will give it. We wanted a mosquito repellent and they had one. They also attended to any help requests immediately. We did not use the restaurant and ended up using swiggy as the hotel is right outside Thanjavur city. The property is inside a colony that has lot of empty spaces and is quiet. We noticed a film crew that was using the property for their stay. They had a huge kitchen setup operating outside the hotel and their supplies were stocked in the hotel lobby and some kitchen staff used the lobby to do prep work for their cooking. Especially cutting veggies. The film crew were am sure more than 10 or in 10s. We did not mind it. In fact I liked the smell of fresh cut veggies . But painting a picture so that people know what to expect. There are 2 convenience stores within the colony, one operated by the hotel itself. Our pet enjoyed the stay and walking her in the colony was an adventure in itself with all the colony dogs protesting the intruder. Thankfully it did not go past that. There is enough vacant space in the colony for our dog to do its business. There is a covered car park in the form a shed where 5 to 8 cars can be parked. There is shade by the hotel to park your car otherwise too.

An average hotel. Covered car parking . Restaurant also is there. We were not provided complimentary breakfast. Not at all a cheap hotel. The attitude and behaviour of the staff is laudable.

Remote area with peacefully location. This hotel looks like 3 star facility hotel. It looks like cottage but with in normal residential are. Here we can saw the many residential houses around hotel and herethat residential peoples are very decent. Many celebrities and cinema stars stay here, but residential peoples won't disturb or interup the hotel customers.

Very bad rooms, full of cockroaches and tap not working properly in bathroom.

Good for family and the rooms were clean....not very far from the temple and very peaceful and quiet... nice and clean lobby and very good food a bit expensive but good.Good for ppl who jog and walk.

Overall the best place to stay with a decent service. Nice taste & quality food. Clean and cozy. Spacious rooms with luxury facilities.

All good except for the location. 15 km away from Thanjavur and another good 500 metres from the National Highway. Other than that, all are excellent, including the rooms, service and food available at the restaurant inhouse. Nominal pricing for this place is a mention. Good and peaceful ambience. The owner is very casual and easy to have a conversation with whenever he's available. Have received some organic mangoes from him and that too tastes sweet like him. Pls try whenever possible around this place.

Room not clean. AC remote not working when I asked staff he asked us to buy batteries to check. But room space and its can be maintained better.
