    I had a great stay at this hotel! It was an excellent experience from start to finish. the facilities were clean and comfortable .Sahina was friendly and always ready to help. I'm very happy with my stay at this hotel, and I would definitely recommend it to others. The combination of comfortable rooms, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable experience.

    I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Dipa for her outstanding service throughout my stay at Hotel Le Meridien. From the moment I arrived, her warm and welcoming demeanor, along with her ever-present cute smile, made me feel truly at home. Her attentiveness to detail, readiness to assist, and genuine hospitality stood out and significantly enhanced my experience. It's rare to come across someone who so effortlessly embodies the spirit of excellent service and hospitality. Thank you, Ms. Dipa, for making my stay so pleasant and memorable.     Avoid this hotel at all cost... This is the worst stay I ever had. After 26 hours of tiring travel from US, I was hoping for a pleasant stay. I checked in at 9 pm and allocated a room in 2nd floor. The entire corridor of that floor smells with cigarette smoke. I am allergic to cigarette smoke. Inside room, bathroom was horribly maintained with broken hand shower, lose toilet sheet, leaking tap , no anti-slip mat in bath tub. Your team shifted me to a different room following day. Again bathroom was poorly maintained but better than previous one. Following morning, I had a bad fall from bathtub as mat had no anti-slip cushion so while stepping out of the bathtub , my other feet inside bathtub had no support causing the slip. I fell down on my back causing a deep cut in my right elbow, blow on wrist, right hand and back. Luckily I had a soft blow to my head else it would have been worse. As I had to rush to my meetings, I told my office to convey this to your duty manager, though agreed to shift to another room, when I came back at 1130 pm night to hotel, to my surprise none of your staff had come inside the room to check. I noticed blood soaked towel and broken curtain kept as it is in the bathroom. Doctor has advised few medications. I am right now undergoing physio to recover from the fall. Overall such a poor experience. I will highly recommend that everyone avoid this place. See the pic of the cut.

    At the hotel le Meridien, you can be rest assured for overall comfort, except for few surprises, which may have been exceptional for me in multiple visits that I have made over last 2 years. One aspect of service is unmatched, there dinning crew led by Agnel and Mr Narayan, amazing comfort they give during your stay and visit to the restaurant. I recommend the hotel for all including tourist and people on business visit.

    This is not even remotely close to what a 5 star accommodation looks like. I got deceived into booking this place due to Marriott tie up and misleading reviews. All recent low star ratings are true to every word. 2 stars owed to some warm hospitality. Carpets feel like they have never been washed. Garden has waterlogged canal which is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. saw 1-2 mosquitoes in the room. Faucets where you expect steel have plastic handles. Whether it be faucet handles or any other brass/steel topping, everything, literally everything is washed out. Have erosion marks on it. Even the mirrors have missing polish marks. Visible caulking everywhere, unprofessionally done, it just kills the vibe of the marble at the place. Visible patch work on walls, seriously a 5 star place can't have wall painted? Visible, accumulated dust in every crevice of the room. Even exterior of the building hasn't been washed / painted in decades it seems like. Please avoid! Additionally what irked me more was - I got worse value for my Marriott points in terms of $ value conversion. - they didn't include free breakfast with room, quoting that it's a different package when none were presented on the Marriott website. - water with the room is not bottled. It's their own glass bottles topped with whatever water who knows. - everything comes with a hefty charge. It seems like the business model is to get foot in the door and then have the customer swipe card for every basic thing! - weird rule that you cannot order food delivered to the hotel..

    Rooms are spacious. Central atrium is beautifully designed. Entire hotel is very neat. In morning, you can Walk within the campus itself, if you are a regular Walker. When I stayed, swimming pool was under maintenance. Food quality is Good and delicious. Away From central and Egmore railway station. If you are having business around Guindy best place to choose.

    Rooms are well cleaned and hygienic even with bit aged infrastructure. Their loyalty program is excellent and I got very good upgrade. Amith from the lounge is worth mentioning for his highly professional courteous service combined with his out of the way help in identifying the right available dishes for my choice of clinical diet.

    Absolutely Horrendous - A Health Hazard! Never, ever stay at this hotel. It's beyond unacceptable--it's a health risk! I completely agree with most of the reviewers: this place should not be in operation. We booked two non-smoking rooms, but as soon as we walked in, we were hit with a disgusting stench of cigarette smoke. It was unbearable. There were actual ashes on the carpet, which means they don't even bother to clean the rooms properly. The entire place felt dirty and neglected. The rooms? Old, dilapidated, and literally falling apart. Broken furniture, stained carpets, and an overall sense of decay. It's shocking that this hotel is still running under the Marriott brand. We canceled immediately because there was no way we could stay in such an unhygienic environment. But the service was just as bad as the condition of the rooms. The staff were completely incompetent, rude, and indifferent. It didn't matter that we were platinum/elite members--they do not care about customer service at all. Marriott should cut ties with this property before it permanently damages their reputation. Stay away at all costs! This place isn't just bad--it's a nightmare.
