We had a really good experience staying here during our journey for India's longest motorbike rally from Coimbatore to Kanniyakumari with over 55+ bikers. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the owner was extremely courteous, making us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained--perfect for getting some much-needed rest after a long ride. What really stood out was the parking space, which was ample and equipped with CCTV cameras, offering us great peace of mind for our bikes. The overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Whether you're traveling solo or in a large group like ours, this place is definitely a great choice. Highly recommended for a comfortable and secure stay!

Never book this hotel unless you're prepared for unhygienic conditions and potential health risks. The rooms are extremely poorly maintained - I'm shocked Treebo would partner with such a property. Our room was infested with mosquitoes and insects, the bathroom was unsanitized, and the flush didn't work.||Think twice before booking: I checked in at 1:45 PM and had to leave by 4:45 PM (just 3 hours) due to these terrible conditions, yet they charged me the full amount and refused a refund. I strongly advise against staying at this property.

I stayed at this property with my family for 1 day and paid Rs 8000 for a single room that accomodates 4 people. The rooms were not very clean. There were no toiletries in the washroom. We had to demand for each and everything. The breakfast provided was the worst, the man who served us breakfast used bare hands to give us cut fruits. We don't know why but the manager asked us not to reduce the AC temperature below 26. Even though the service was poor he did not have any problem asking for a tip.

If you're planning a trip to Kanyakumari, Umaiyyal Homestay is an excellent choice for accommodation near the beach. It offers a warm and homely vibe, which instantly makes you feel comfortable. The staff is exceptionally polite, always going out of their way to assist you with a smile. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities you need for a cozy stay. The location is perfect--close enough to the beach and major attractions, yet peaceful enough to relax. It's the kind of place where hospitality feels personal, and you leave with a sense of gratitude for the care they extend. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in Kanyakumari!

1) Pathetic service from the hotel manager. We reached the place by 7:45 in the morning, while we were well aware of the fact that the check-in is at 12PM. However, we requested the manager if it would be possible to check-in us early, since we had plans to check out by 6 next morning. We were told by the manager that the cleaning personnel will come shortly and he assured us a room as soon as the cleaning is done. He made us wait till 12 in the reception, kept giving false promises that the room will be provided. 2) The place is far away from the town and you won't find a small restaurant/super market/medical store. Avoid booking this place for their poor service and location.

Good stay neat and clean room we booked ac room all basic facilities they have like lift, wifi, hot water toiletries provided and complimentary breakfast was given that also good one. Stay is little away from main road and main road is 200 m from stay but area is good and peaceful.

From the moment we checked in, we were met with rudeness, but things escalated to a shocking level when we had a simple question about our booking. Instead of helping us, the receptionist yelled at us and went so far as to call us "illiterates"--yes, you read that right. I have never in my life been treated with such hostility at a hotel, let alone one that claims to provide hospitality. The rest of the experience wasn't much better. The rooms were subpar, the service was nonexistent, and the entire atmosphere of the hotel was unwelcoming. But honestly, all of that pales in comparison to the way we were disrespected by the staff. Do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else. This place doesn't deserve your money or your time.
