Rajamselva Hotel - Sirkazhi

All the good reviews are fake. Rooms were absolutely not worth the price, we paid 2k for a night. Washrooms were untidy with absolutely no water coming from the taps. And the tap water was too salty to even brush teeth, let alone take bath. We even shifted rooms but there is some or the other major problem with every room. AC wasn't working. Lifts were not working for 2 days and wasn't serviced even after requesting. Although we were too tired from our trip, we only wanted to checkout and leave this place ASAP. Only good part was the watchman who looks after the parking area.

*This review is not influenced by the staff* Sirkazhi is a small town and the amenities are not much but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are well lit and above a marriage hall. It was cleaned before we checked in and spotless. Even though there was a wedding taking place when I was staying, there was no disturbance in the room. The best thing about this hotel is the service and the friendly staff, even though I had nothing to do with the wedding, the courteous staff offered me coffee and was really helpful for all my requests. Please have the right expectations when you go here and understand this is a small town and there are only a few hotels. It is 15 minutes from Vaitheeswarankoil and has no hotel attached. For that, I recommend Vasantham or Vasanthabhavan, 4 minutes by car, 10 minutes away for fresh, excellent dosai and coffee.

Spacious, well-lit, clean air-conditioned room. Clean bathroom with hot water. Staff very helpful. Quick check-in and check-out. Bottled water provided with toiletries and towel. Towels, sheets, pillow covers clean. Lift access. 4 plug points two by the bedside and two near the TV for charging all your devices. Electric kettle provided. Coffee mix, sugar, creamer provided on request. Provided room for driver. We checked in late in the day but towels, one pillow, one pillow cover were not there. When we pointed it out, they brought it in about 10-15 minutes. Guess less staff due to Sankaranti holidays. Future they should check to make sure everything is ready before guest arrives. They should also wash and dry the mat at the bathroom entrance frequently. Remote not working to switch on TV but the front office person attended to it immediately.

The only thing that is lacking in this place is the room service. Otherwise, the room is very decent. The parking facility is also very good. They gave a separate room to the driver I brought. The car parking facility is very good. My favorite place in Sirkazhi..

Six of us went there and it was great. The room service was also great. The room and bathroom were clean. The best room in Sirkazhi.

No comments at all. Excellent service and easy access to move to any locations. In my experience hotel rooms Are like star hotel model. I strongly recommend and fit place to stay.
