Hill fort resort

Don't go thus place I have booked this one week before for 10/05/2025 check in they said 10/05/2025 12 PM check and 11/05/2025 11 AM check so I reached resort by 12:30 pm on 10/05/2025 but they give the room to some other people which was booked by me and the resort owner not ready to refund my Advance and resort owner was not there in resort he was in some other place and the resort was maintained by one old lady. So don't go to this place we face lot of issues with this resort and we stay in another resort. Resort was also not good full od dust no fan and bed was also not good bathroom was not clean. So my advise is don't book this place until visiting this place directly.

It's been pleasant day for me and family. After driving so long, reached at the best place I would say. Clean and spacious rooms. A very good ambiance. Calm and romantic atmosphere. Decent people at resort. Provided very good support including food. . Finally the rate also was decent Nd affordable. Thanks to the staff for wonderful experience and hope to see you soon...

I had really depraved experience with this places. We booked this places on last week just for one day and really expensive almost $10k for 12 peoples. House and room are just ok . By that time we reached, no power at all for whole night till morning. But , the servant was good and kind person .that's only one thing was good for us .So, hard to get it ready for next morning and breakfast was not bad . Finally, we spoke with the landlord about power cut and he's really rude fellow and Not kind person . No reduction for power cut and not having proper van or tempo parking . End up with nothing .

Didn't met my expectations. The view was nice. There was lot of cockroaches in the room. They are serving food from a hotel. I wished to try for some special foods like dam fish fry and curry. So I booked it in advance(before one or two days) and they agreed to serve. But it was not communicated properly with the hotel and they served only fish fry(not hot) and no fish curry at all. Also the man at hotel was unaware about the complimentary breakfast(even though they served it). In short, there is a communication gap between the owner and hotel man and it spoiled my stay. There is an old lady for helping the guests and she was quite good.

It's not a good place for family stay or get togethers. There are lots of cockroaches and insects in the room. Power will go off if you turn on the heater. Very rude staff(lady). Everytime she will come and tell that dont turn on light , fan etc. The rooms are worth for 300 to 500 rs per day but they r charging 3k. Don't consider this place for your stay. Its will definitely spoil your entire trip mood.

Stayed in this place on 23rd &24th of this month as a part of my "Athirappilly>Sholayar>Aliyaar>Top Slip" trip. It is a FOUR roomed family friendly cottage located in a local village nestled on a hillside, we found the tea plantation view from the room which was stunningly beautiful especially in the early morning hours and late evening. The climate was chilling and the sleep quality, cleanness and bed linen were satisfactory. Upper Sholyar Dam is situated near this place and the owner Mr.Shejin was really helpful to carter our needs. I found this place very much convenient for those who travel from TN and also from KERALA||||Traveler tips : ||Those who travel from Kerala :- Guys, without a 59 KM ride to Aliyar Dam from this place, your visit will not get a desired result. So, I would recommend to stay here and start your journey to Aliyar dam on the succeeding day morning itslef and don't forget that the cottage management is running a small eatery nearby where they serves tasty local cuisines and once reach the Aliyar dam premises,must taste the varieties of fish fries.||||Those who travel from TN :- Folks, without a 59 KM ride to Athirappilly water falls your visit don't get flourished. That journey will be a lifelong memory coz the dense forest will keep you amazing throughout, but please be noted 1)No parking 2)No littering 3)No sounds/music 4) No rash driving. Animals can be seen anywhere but please don't approach/disturb/feed them.

This place is around 500 meters inside from Sholaiyar to Athirapilly main road. Otherwise, It was a pleasant stay. The food they offered is spicy and tasty. Veg and Non-veg foods can be ordered. Rooms are neat and clean. Beware of muds in parking during rains.

they said wheel chair accessible but no provision for it.. very much disappointed 1 no light in bathroom 2 no dish connection in one room 3 kitchen is somewhere 50 feet down cross the door.. steps are too steep highly dangerous 4 zero spacious 5 100 % dirty kitchen and kitchenware
