Pros: Quiet and nature friendly location with amazing view. Friendly staffs tasty and homely food Clean rooms. Cons: Reaching location bit difficult (steep and rocky roads) Less privacy, we had shared balcony Limited aminities (no WiFi,kettle,TV) Food prices very high.

Purpose of relaxation is 100% meet here by the rooms with comfort n facilities, location situated. Road to home stay needs improvement. Food n service r commendable.

o begin with, this place is at a very secluded location with a great valley view and this is a big plus. We always wanted to stay away from the crowded tourist spots in and around Ooty and this was the perfect place from a location perspective. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful and took good care of us. However our experience was not as expected due to the following reasons: 1) I had checked with host if my i20 car can pull through the 400 meters unpaved track and she had mentioned, that it should not be a problem. It will be a problem for all Sedan and Hatchback owners and your vehicle will take some beating. It's a steep incline on the way up with some bad patches and you cannot drive with other passengers in your car 2) Geyser was not working in our room, hence we had to use the adjacent room and thank god there were no guests in that room, otherwise it would have been a real problem 3) Flush was not working properly in our bathroom for the first day, and the caretaker finally fixed it on the second day 4) Bed linen was not fresh and it appeared as though they were given to us without a wash from previous use. 5) There are no mosquito nets for the window panes and we had to keep the windows shut throughout the night, which made the room really suffocating. We tried opening the windows for some fresh air but were attacked by an army of mosquitoes. A fan would have made the difference 6) A school has come up right next to the property, which kind of dampens the valley view 7) Food taste is average but reasonably priced. 8) Although we had a balcony, but keep in mind that it's not totally private and other guests can access this balcony if they intend to, since the access is open, especially in the room we were allotted. 9) One will need to carry an emergency lamp to the bathroom, since it's difficult to see in the provisioned light With so many negatives, I feel the place is too expensive. I would advise the host to correct these issue before hosting any other guest.

We enjoyed our stay. The calmness of being surrounded by nature was relaxing. The rain really helped cozy up our stay. The people in service are helpful. However, cleanliness is not upto the mark and the kitchen service is a real concern area. The road leading to the villa is terrible.

During COVID times, we wanted to stay at a place unique and away from the crowded spaces. Although, way to the Villa is adventurous, but it's a location to be with your family, where you could have wonderful time and be with yourself and experience untouched nature. The food was homely and place to trek around is almost 3 acres. A small trek to the temple across the property, fulfills your desire to connect with nature. Suggest reaching villa before sunset to enjoy outstanding views..

Wonderful view, Clean room and Tasty food and Water Purifier. Cons: Worst road to enter property it's a steep road so without a good road it's not recommended. Though the taste is good, the food is costlier. Stay is Overpriced.

Pros: The view Security Connectivity to roads Staff behavior Punctuality. Hosts Bed delivery and service. Cons: 1. Not availability of water at any given point of time. We had to keep asking them for switching on motor water every time we needed to use washroom. 2. There was no availability of drinking water in the stay. We had to ask the staff for hot or cold water. 3. The food was costly where we have paid rs 15 for one piece of small idly. I am sure the room costs due to view and maintenance. But to cost every meal 110 just extra is not something understandable or acceptable. I had paid 8k for the stay for two days and a night. We definitely deserved something better wrt facilities. Kindly note this. Might help in future. Thank you for having us. P.s. the view from the balcony is just mesmerizing.

Oak n Teas Kotagiri is a place where you can trek to nearest waterfall , do bird watching and enjoy blissful mornings. Music and campfire at night with salubrious climate makes evening a special time to spend. Recommend for those who are looking for exploring relationships of family and friends away from hustle bustle of crowded place.
