Mahendravanam's VHM Resorts

This stay is located in an accessible area, surrounded by beautiful forests and mountains. It's more of a bungalow style accommodation than a hotel, with many rooms available. Dinner was very good, and the complimentary breakfast was decent. The staff were punctual. The only downside was that the rooms weren't very clean, and in my room, the toilet flush wasn't working but they immediately swapped the room for me. If you're a group of 4 to 5 people, definitely consider this place!

If you are a family then please dnt choose this place for stay. Look for something else. we have to book this resort online as we are searching for a good place to stay, I was sceptical about this place but looked at the pictures and found the reviews are good and I trusted this place but regretted my decision now. 1. This facility was almost >13kms from the centre / the market place where the kolli hills community is located. 2. Though there are many boards to navigate the route but was not well placed or not guiding to this place, if you forgot to use the maps when you have a signal reaching this place is very difficult. 3. when we reached this place the first thing that I have noticed was the beer bottles and rum bottle at the entrance and some of them playing carrom board was already in a stage they are tripping due to the alcohol. A clear notice of not suitable for family. 4. Lift was not working with elderly parents they offered us a room in 2nd floor and image such a situation taking old age people to 2nd floor and pulling up all the luggages 5. when we entered the room fan was not working, TV was broken and heater was not working, they sent two people to fix the TV and reset was history after 2 hours of waiting for them to fix the TV we got frustrated and asked for a refund. 5.Wifi was not working at the 2nd floor and those who don't have BSNL or JIO then please stay at the reception or on the stairs to get the wifi connected 6. since it's not a non refundable booking I chose my destiny to be at this hell with my entire family including kid. They provide me an additional room next to the many bachelors who have come to enjoy but unfortunately that will be a disturbing night for us as a family, so we decided to stay at the same room and use the other room only for refreshing during the next morning to avoid delays as we wanted to leave early to avoid getting into any further trouble. They charged us approx 4000 per night for 4 adults and a kid which doesn't worth the stay.

I recently stayed at COASTAL GRAND MAHENDRAVANAM-KOLLI HILLS and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The food was absolutely delicious! The chef crafted a variety of mouthwatering dishes that showcased the local flavors and fresh ingredients. The ambiance was relaxing and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind and savor each meal. The location was breathtaking! We stayed in this resort hotel for a day recently and our experience was good. Rooms were recent. Location was perfect surrounded with lot of greenery and sounds of peacocks and other birds. Service was great. I would say food was decent. Please carry cash. There is almost no service near this hotel. You will get some service if you travel a bit from here.

Don't mind a bit of a horror movie vibe on your way up, this resort offers a memorable experience. ((I absolutely loved my stay )) Peaceful getaway for family, friends and couples, its a great choice! The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the bathrooms are spotless, which makes for a comfortable stay. There's plenty of balcony space to relax, and the stunning hill view adds to the charm of the place. We loved having a bonfire in the evening, which created a cozy and memorable atmosphere. For indoor entertainment, the resort offers games like carrom and table tennis, ensuring that there's never a dull moment. Plus, the parking space is ample, so you won't have to worry about finding a spot for your vehicle. While the resort itself is top-notch, the only downside is its location. It's quite far from nearby restaurants and eateries, so if the hotel doesn't provide meals, you'll need to travel about 5 km to find food. But apart from that, the overall experience at VHM Resort is definitely worth it. If you're looking for a peaceful and spacious place to unwind with friends, this is an excellent choice.

About rooms: We stayed with a group of 10 for 3 days /2 nights . Rooms are spacious and decent . Location is ideal and is surrounded by woods and lovely to who wants to be isolated from the fast world. You will enjoy the peacocks' Wail and screams among silent woods. Balcony view is excellent to gather and relax. You have WiFi. Food and service: Food is average and we felt slightly expensive for the quality the food was and they all charged not as a package but in portions like in restaurants. Service needs to be improved. Compared with our stays in other hill resorts, personalised care is missing, which compensates all other misfits. Camp fire was well arranged. Over all satisfactory, with a missed feel of good food.

Rooms and services provided were top notch, finding the location could be a hassle but all worth when you arrive here. Cooking by Chef Arun was delightful and the overall experience was very good.

It's okay kind of stay. It's a big stay with three floors and many rooms if you are going with a big team it can accommodate everyone. However, maintenance is not that great. Room service boys are good however taste of Food is not that excellent. Our food was so spicy, we suffered with stomach upset the next day. Barbecue was worst, don't try that. However, Resort is located far from town, some will enjoy this peaceful location but if you need anything to purchase hard to reach a restaurant, you have to drive 15 minutes to town. If you're planning with a big team and to have fun in the resort, then you can choose this place. Overall not so bad.
