Joe's Beach Shack (Beach resort)

We went as a group of 26 people, Ambience was very good and location is walkable distance from Aryaman beach. Rooms were maintained properly and Resort was surrounded by full of Trees. Safe for Family and Children. Very limited option for food and bit costly. So we took most of the time food outside. Swimming Pool was maintained properly and I would recommend for the people who are looking for peaceful holiday with Family / Friends.

We stayed here for two days in a standard room, which is essentially a container-style accommodation, comfortable for two people with a balcony. Resort also has a swimming pool and a garden. The resort's surroundings are quite pleasant and peaceful. You can spot various birds in the area, including beautiful peacocks. Food options are limited, but the taste is good. However, one inconvenience is that you have to place your dinner order by 6:30 to 7 PM. The resort can be slightly understaffed when operating at full capacity. Overall, it was a peaceful stay amidst nature and birdlife. Ariyaman Beach is within walking distance and is absolutely beautiful.

This hotel needs to be given minus stars if possible. Don't go here at all. It's a waste of ur hard earned money. They charge like a five star hotel, Rs 10.6 k per day. But, in return give service of a low quality lodge. Pros - location is very good, right near beach. But, the problem here is , the beach is right in front of the resort. But, due to all round fencing, u can't go directly to beach from the resort. U've to take a long detour of abt 1 km to reach the beach. The road & it's surrounding area & the actual beach is very dirty . It seems like the dirt & kachra accumulated there hasn't been cleared for months altogether. The inside area of resort is clean, well maintained & very nice & beautiful. The swimming pool is also clean & well maintained. But no other sports or entertainment facility is available there. Cons - service is just too bad. U've to call room service atleast 4 times. Then somebody will come after half an hour. The restaurant - fixed menu for breakfast and lunch/ dinner. That too u've to prebook beforehand. Options in food r very less . More than half items on the menucard r not available. Any Food takes at least half an hour to serve. U have to wait with ushte hands for ur next dish to come. Only the villas there r of good quality. ( They cost a bomb though) . The rest r just snall , congested containers converted into a room , with only a double bed. No cupboard, no table, no chairs available there. Actually, the manager there, Mr. Subbu is a nice, soft spoken & co- operative person. Hello tries to help as much as possible. But, he's helpless , as manpower is not properly trained. No enough resources available. This is the problem of management, which they have to solve.

This place is located before Rameshwaram. We booked the individual villa room 2 months back. During our stay we had the food in their restaurant and it was good and they prepared as per your need. Only for the swimming pool they need to keep a separate incharge as many guests are not using the shower before getting into the swimming pool and also some are spitting inside.

Stayed for a day, had dinner from here as well. The service is good, the location is also pretty great. Nice ambience as well. The food was a bit expensive but overall not bad considering the experience.

Booked standard room for visit to Rameshwaram temple. Standard room is a (small shipping) container which is modified as a room. It is not at all good. Team is good and provides service properly within their limits. Location is 45 mins from the Temple and the hotel does not provide any help with the priest contacts. Food is okay and there are limited operations.

1. Very Dirty room, lizards in room. 2. Water from washroom came into room 3. Bedsheets, pillows and comforters, towels for standard rooms were so dirty. 4. Doors and walls were so dirty. 5. Rooms were like servant quarters, even wrost than that. 6. We asked for upgrade, we were ready to pay extra, they had rooms but then also they denied from providing rooms 7. Freequent power cut 8. Dth remote cell is not working 9. Lots of mosquitoes and flies inside room but no Goodnight refill 10. Cockroach coming in bed 11. Dog is drinking water in swimming pool no one to care about the customer is swimming in the pool

service is very poor, need to follow up multiple times for your food orders, room service etc. we stayed for 2 nights, no one came for room cleaning as well. i misplaced my sunglass and although i am sure i left it at the reception, staff was not honest enough to admit it. so had a poor experience overall.
