Hotel Windsor Castle is a distinguished heritage hotel located in the heart of Salem. It seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern amenities, offering guests a luxurious and comfortable stay. Room and toilet well maintained. Service is good. Front office behaviour is very good.

Well maintained heritage property. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Room service was also good. Swimming pool is well maintained. Shiva, the manager kept the check in and check out easy for us. Parking is open that is the only concern.

I'd like to extend my appreciation to Mr. Suresh and Mrs. Valli, the housekeeping staff, for their exceptional service during my stay. The room was consistently well-maintained, and their dedication to cleanliness and comfort was impressive. Thank you both for making my stay enjoyable!

Hotel Review I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the attentive and helpful staff made me feel truly welcome, always ready to assist with a warm smile and impeccable professionalism. The rooms were clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated in a traditional Chettinad style that beautifully blended cultural heritage with modern comforts. Every detail of the interiors reflected thoughtful design, creating an inviting and unique ambiance. The hotel boasts a large, well-maintained pool, perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. The in-house restaurant was another highlight, offering an impressive array of dishes that catered to a variety of tastes. Situated in the center of fairylands, the hotel provides easy access to nearby attractions and activities. Had the best experience at the Windsor Castle Hotel. Everything was awesome and the food which they provided was high quality and delicious,their main course and the dessert are must try. The main thing is their service which their staff give is great. They respond quickly to each and every query, they were kind and polite respectful towards the customer. The Hotel feels like a castle which is aesthetic and gives a classic feel surrounded by artefacts and drawings. Swimming pool was nice but contains more chlorine otherwise it was also good.

Beautiful heritage property being run with I don't care attitude staff. Owners seem to have done a great effort but our experience shows either they have lost interest or hired poor quality staff. We were 4 retired gentlemen at leisure. 2 rooms, 2 queen beds request, prepaid. Late check in. Had to wait a long while to get our rooms. They had some issue. Welcome drink in a shot glass after another 30 minutes. Rooms not clean or fully functional. Rooms 404/409. One room no toilet paper. Blood stains on one of the pillows ! Other room toilet roll kept on the hair dryer on wall because toilet paper holder broken ! Shower mixer leaking and at best lukewarm water only. Did not have dinner. Breakfast was a sad affair considering they charge 1100/ claiming continental/ Indian. Dried out chana sprouts, ice cold idly because electric steamer not working! Hard boiled eggs also cold similar reason. The buffet manager was clueless, after an argument went and brought four steamed idli for US but not for others ! Could not meet a Manager despite requesting. We checked out at 9am. Duty manager as per reception comes to work at 1030am ! Overall a poorly run property. All the efforts in creating a antique style hotel completely wasted. Exterior frontage needs a bit of paint. Some interior repair going on and all dust coming into corridor to submarine restaurant. Personally I would sack the Manager and head waiter, maintenance head Train the other staff to be more customer friendly. A smile goes a long way. We enjoyed the antique ambience and ample parking. Not worth a 3 star.

I highly recommend Windsor Castle for anyone visiting Salem. Food was very delicious and the rooms was very clean an Neatness.. The front officers like.. Siva, kowsalya and mythilipriya was Excellent and very friendly..
