They were the one who actually came to rescue when we were held up at Salem , half way through to our hometown. We had a pet too, nice place to stay at an affordable price. It was like a proper home stay. Good homely food and service.. Thank you for the wonderful experience ABODE.

I booked a room at Salem Lotus Abode through the Agoda app for 1,020. The images showed clean rooms with good reviews, so I opted for a simple stay. However, it's important to note that this is not a hotel but more of a homestay with multiple rooms offering both AC and non-AC options. Our check-in time was 3 PM, but we arrived at 7:30 PM. The host was very kind, humble, and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable. However, the room was not ready when we arrived, and we had to wait while they arranged it, which was disappointing. While the room itself was generally clean, there was visible dust on the roof and walls, indicating a lack of proper maintenance. The biggest issue was that there was no fan, and the cooler provided was ineffective, making it extremely difficult to sleep. The bathroom was unhygienic, with no proper mug or bucket, and the water basin was leaking inside the bathroom. Additionally, the water heater was not working, and there were no plug points for charging, which was quite inconvenient. Another major issue was the sewage or water connection, which needs immediate attention.

Recently we had a very comfortable stay in Lotus Abode for 2 days. Owner of this property, Mr. Shankar, is a very humble and down-to-earth person. We never felt like we were staying in a hotel. In fact we felt like we were in our relatives house. Hospitality was top notch. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Many veg restaurants are in walkable distance.Truely, this place is a home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay in lotus abode. The house was really too good. The swing reminded us about our old memories of our childhood. All of us in our family enjoyed a lot. Thank u .

Horrible to the core experiences. There were overwhelming rating in the Google page, believed and booked on 21st night for 4 adults paid 2000 online Checked around 21st 7am around.. Shocked to see..the Horrible to the core.. Enterence: Its like a old dialpalated house apprearces.. Car parking on the street road.. Indide house is a like dirty & old bangala type.. all with age old cot & chairs..smelling !!! We immediately said, we would like to chk out as things are not the way , given your reviews.. Home stay owner & & wife jumbed to pillar to post and refused to return the amount though we have not sat in side the alloted kaveri room for 4 adults even for a minute.. Where as reviews repeatedly says that he is humble person and very caring and all that.. Humpack...all ..I guess.. I argued with Mr.sankar , but he refused paycthe amount 2000 as my booking amount.. I have no enmininty whatsoever ever with lotus abode home stay people. But cautioning my fellow customers who should know these hard facts .. I suspect all the reviews given all looks more or less same style of English and even the contend also in many places gets overlaped Now, immediately after this reveive, the owner will find a reason and will justify his position as he is innocent and his prosperity is the best.. I am not writing this, because he didn't refund 2000, writing because, the actuals and ststus of the home stay ..peoplev should know before booking.. There is no truth in their google reviews ! I wouldn't even give this property a single star. There are no basic amenities - no hangers in the room, the AC doesn't work, the restroom door doesn't close, there is no cupboard in the hall and there's no hanger in the restroom. The room was full of dust, and to top it off, we found cockroaches and ants inside. The property owner was incredibly rude and lacked basic customer service. We paid 6K for a 3-day stay, but we were so dissatisfied that we decided to leave after just one day. We offered the owner 3K for the one night and asked for a refund of the remaining 3K, but he refused. The daily rate was 2K, and despite leaving early, we tried to be reasonable by offering him an extra 1K. Still, he refused to refund any money and was completely unprofessional. The service here was abysmal. I STRONGLY WARN everyone NOT TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY. It's more suitable for a horror movie set, not for human accommodation. This is an honest review based on my experience.

It was very peaceful and also approachable places for the town. Property owner was very chill, supportive and friendly. Thank you so much for the wonderful accomodation!!!
