Anu Residency (Lodges/Budget Hotels/New Deluxe Rooms)

Do not go to this hotel there are full of Bed bugs we saw the bed bugs after check inn at 1am when we told the receptionist about the bed bugs he told i cannot do anything and refused to give another room atleast we asked for another pillow and bed sheet but he did not even provide us that also the bed bugs are all over the bed,matress and pillows too. Then we had to sleep on floor as we didn't had any other option. And they will tell you that they only have AC rooms only and the bathroom fittings were broken. Towels weee smelly. Very bad experience.

0 star hotel basically let me tell you why which is not highlighted by other. Bed bugs- which was the major issue while sleeping. TV- remote isn't in working condition I'm writing this to the Anu residency : Please fix all the issues or complications. If not people who are reading this - better book early in some other good hotel or rooms. Instead of getting intimidated by bed bugs.

Cheap and best around in salem city. 4 or 5 car parking only available. Bachelors can stay with comfort. Nice rooms. Clean rooms.

Room big size, Ac works but no water bottle provision. Lift works good. Baathroom dirty, water taps gives whistle sound. No shower. Hot water you need to beg room boys. If no other lodge then for case of emergency you can book this but personally I don't recommend bkoz of baathroom condition. Ac 1000.

One of the worst hotel in salem. Because worst reception service experience. I have booked today Non AC suit room (already informed through mobile call). But after reached hotel they are saying AC only available (but that same room non AC available) then price also high. I asked wifi password but for that also they asking extra price. So if anyone booking, please confirm early all things and book this is my experience

Nice Recidency near busstand i stay with my Family and one infant. Their hospitality is very nice. Budget stay spot Non A/c Rs.1000 for 3 Person's. A/c 1200 to 1500 based on Extra cot. Very Clean when i was entered to room. No Hot Water in my room i dont aware other rooms. Fans in my room very close to ceiling so Little un comfortable. Other wise worth to Money. Nearby Hotel foods are Too costly like Coffe 35/- Pongal 80/- Idly 20/- like that so use busstand near food shops. Residency to improve little bit like fans Bathroom Mats . And Also Change old type TV s to save electricity bills. And Control Water leaks in western Toilet it's also Help to improve Recidency Income. Anyway worth for money.

The lodge is an old building with a traditional old style manual close lift.It is good for solo travelers for single day. Rooms are ok. Should improve on the cleaning especially the bathroom. Few door fittings and bathroom taps need replacement definitely. Bedsheets and pillow covers are washed and changed, so it's fine. The cost is fine and the location is prime in Salem. Opposite to new bus stand and 3 to 4 km from Salem railway junction. Very close to shops and restaurants.

Very worst hotel. Not at all clean. Bed, bed sheets, towels are very dirty. Not usable at all. Please avoid this hotel at any cost. During check out the cleaning guy has asked for tips and I told him all these and he regretted for that and told that he also knew that the those items were not clean. He added that because of the continuous rain, laundry was not done . After hearing this, I lost my patience. How come they can give the dirty items knowingly? Really bad and pathetic. I paid 900 Rs for an AC room, it is a total waste. I never had this kind of experience.
