Hotel Ashwa Park

I had a pleasant experience overall. The biggest advantage is its prime location, just 600 meters from Salem Railway Station, making it extremely convenient for travelers. Additionally, the hotel is well-connected to public transport, making commuting hassle-free. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and very clean, providing a comfortable stay. The facilities offered were up to the mark, ensuring a good experience. However, one area that needs improvement is the staff service, particularly in replacing water daily. This was the only downside I noticed, but apart from that, everything else was satisfactory. Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel for those looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Salem.

Worst experience ever. As everyone says in the comments, it is not worth the price. The AC is non-functional at all times. And the response from staff in the hotel is also very lethargic. They purposefully keep the centralised AC OFF. We also got information that the hotel management has decided to purposefully keep the centralised AC less to save power. The room temperature never increases more than 26deg. They also have very limited parking. It cannot accommodate parking for all guests.

I am a driver. My customer had booked a room here yesterday. So I stayed there. When the driver asked for the room, he had to pay 180 rs extra. The hotel management announced that. So why did the customer pay 180 rs. But the driver's room was very very worst. Not clean. The bed was all torn. The bathroom was not even accessible. It was so small.

I had the misfortune of staying at Hotel Ashwa Park near Salem Junction, and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I stepped into the room, I was greeted by cockroaches scurrying across the floor. The bathroom was unbelievably cramped and disgustingly dirty, complete with a broken soap holder - charming! Sleep was an impossible dream thanks to the overwhelming stench of varnish that permeated the entire room. To top it all off, after a long day, my room key decided to stop working, leaving me stranded outside my door for a solid half hour while waiting for someone from reception. Save yourself the misery and book elsewhere. This place deserves zero stars. BETTER DON'T VISIT!!

Booked through MakeMyTrip -ID NH73078397749826 on 15/04/2025. The property is good, but the maintenance is very poor. The washroom and room were not cleaned properly, and there was a bad smell coming from the toilets. Insects and cockroaches were crawling inside the room. The management should take note of these issues. The location is good."

An absolute disappointment. |Ashwa Park is a stand alone hotel, a couple of kilometers away from the Salem Railway Station. It has decent parking space in front. ||The lobby is decent and well maintained. Here is where the disappointment start;||1. The lobbies and passages leading to the bed rooms are dismal. They are old, narrow and smell of mildew. |2. The bedrooms are super old with hardly any amenities. The fan was making a weird noise when turned on.|3. Bathrooms feel like a match box- no amenities are kept in the bathroom. You will find some standard shampoo, toothbrush near the television. The lever for the shower was old and did not work. They have a feeling of weariness.|4. No towels are were provided and I had to call Housekeeping a couple of times for linen.|5. They do not take an effort to make a good stay. Room-service sent food without cutlery and tissues. ||Complimentary Breakfast- Avoid at all costs- food is made and dumped into the buffet vessels. Idlies are cold and can be used as paper-weights, no variety and you probably have to eat what is served.||Overall- this property can be avoided.

Hotel is near in Salem Junction hardly 1km and affordable price. The Staff also very polite and good. Overall I have to gave the 5 star.
