HOTEL WESTGATE

Hotel Westgate is conveniently located just a short walk from the west side of the temple, making it an ideal choice for those visiting the Rameswaram Temple. The location is definitely a plus, as it is easily accessible and very close to the temple. The rooms were clean and neat, offering basic comfort for a short stay. However, the bedsheets were not as clean as expected, which was a bit disappointing. The overall infrastructure could definitely be improved to enhance the guest experience. Though the room itself was decent, the hotel could do better in terms of maintenance and attention to detail. One major downside was the pricing. We paid 5000 for one day with two beds, which I felt was quite expensive, especially considering the condition of the room. It seemed like a steep price for what was offered, and it gave the impression that tourists might be overcharged for the proximity to the temple. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel's location and cleanliness made it a relatively convenient option for a short stay. If you're willing to overlook the price, it could still be worth it for its prime location near the temple.

A value for money place right next to the temple. Date of stay - 23 Nov 2024 Good - rooms are small, but clean and neat. Bathrooms also really clean. Service of the staff, satisfactory, no complaints. Lots of food options all around. Shopping - temple things, souvenirs, clothes - also right there. Best part - location. Right in front of the west gate of the temple. Any closer will be inside the temple. Bad - only complaint is lack of hot water. They have heaters in every room, but didn't get hot water work most of the time. No toiletries, towel or blankets provided. But that's ok, for such a budget hotel, it is not expected. Overall, a very good, pocket friendly place for devotees. Value for money!! Will I go there again? Definitely, if I go to Rameswaram again, I will stay here.

Rooms were clean but somewhat congested. Staff is supportive. Hotel is in front of west gate of ramanathswamy temple making commute easier. Overall good stay for families and couples.

The only advantage is the location, No space for parking. The rooms are smelly and floors are sticky. Wash basin is outside the bathroom. You don't get sleep as it is on the main road, all the vehicles honk even during midnight. Please avoid here unless it is really required. Non AC is 1000 AC IS 1500

The only good thing is the temple is very nearby within 10 metres you can say. The room charges are a little bit high and they don't even provide basic amenities for non-ac rooms. The cleanliness part was also not very okay. There is no wifi.

Rooms are very small but price is too high

Money minded ... if some one comes for better price , they will ask ur leave or cancel ur booking as if we are paying less. . Soon they will understand business reputation in public form .. If u wish to say , plz book the room and pay the amount. So that they can't cancel or push u out of the hotel
