Hotel Tamil Nadu

The room and toilet was clean but the toilet had a bad stink. Moreover the room had very poor ventilation no cross windows for an airflow. The room also didn't have air vents and the room was like an oven. It seems the room was designed for air conditioner but as it didn't have AC it was like an oven. Imagine an AC room without the AC working. It was similar to that. I had to stay here since all AC rooms were fully booked. Never stay in non AC rooms in this hotel.

The buildings are aged but they keep the rooms very clean. We got a room on the first floor and had a common balcony adjacent to our room, which provides a nice view of the sea. The reception staff was very helpful. They guided us with the places to visit nearby and that helped us to complete the visit in less time than we actually planned. The only thing I felt bad about was the way to the location. It was a bit difficult to reach there as the roads, are mostly crowded with vehicles and people. But the compound of the hotel is very large and has ample parking space. The hotel has a canteen space which is clean and spacious. They provided complementary breakfast and the food they served was very delicious.

I stayed for 2 days. Which is a pleasant and memorable stay. Like home made food, is available, the staff is cooperative. Spacious and comfortable accommodation on reasonable rate. I strongly recommend it.

We stayed here in a 3-bed AC room. The room is spacious and recently renovated. The property is owned by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation. Booking should be done online through their website, ttdconline. Complimentary breakfast is included; it is buffet-style and quite good. We also had dinner and lunch from the restaurant. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. The hotel has a vast area around it, and the sea is adjacent. I don't think any other hotel in Rameswaram has this much open space around it. We spotted many peacocks and birds within the hotel premises. The temple is within walking distance.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and serious concern regarding the unacceptable experience my family and I are facing during our current stay in Room 106 at TTDC Hotel, Rameshwaram. At 10:00 PM, I went to the reception to request a pillow, but shockingly, there was no staff present. The entire reception area was unattended, and there was no one to assist me. The room we have been given is unbearably hot, and despite multiple attempts to call reception, no one is answering. The intercom is not working, which leaves us completely cut off in case of any emergency. I am also disturbed by the fact that there is no visible security. I feel extremely unsafe staying here with my family under these conditions. If any issue arises during the night, there seems to be no support or emergency response available. This is completely unacceptable from a government-run hotel. I demand an immediate shift to an air-conditioned room or a full refund of my payment. If you are unable to resolve this issue right away, please provide me the contact number of the nearest police station for our safety. I deeply regret booking this stay at TTDC Rameshwaram. The service, safety, and conditions are completely substandard and irresponsible. Please take immediate action and respond to this complaint without delay.

Overall the stay was decent. Rooms could be maintained better. But the location is excellent. The complementary breakfast was a letdown. We went at 9:45 and everything was cold despite official breakfast time being 7:30-10 AM

We had wonderful family stay. Very big well maintained property, amidst lush green, park, kids play area and walking area is there to enjoy and relax with ample parking. Very serene and peaceful ambience. Main temple is very near, walkable the hotel is by the sea having beach side walking area gives stunning sea view. Rooms are big, Very specious having bigger, family rooms option too. Balcony area is big and great view full of greens. Breakfast is complementary. Overall great experience and highly recommended stay for people visiting Rameshwaram.

We stayed in Hotel Tamil Nadu Tourism .From the on set staff at reception was very curious & helpful. Rooms were matculiously maintained & lenin provided was of very high quality. Service & food was like your own home the staff took pride in serving customers Ms Laxmipiya supervise the dinning Hall & kitchen superbly.
