Hotel Sudhiksha Deluxe

We stayed here in March when we visited for performing rituals.|Plus points: |1) Walking distance from the West Gopuram of Ramanatha swamy temple.|2) Availability of lift ( they have close to 25 AC / Non AC rooms in 3 floors. |3) The biggest plus point is customer friendly front office / support staff - provide towels / tea etc as and when you need.|Reception staff Sakthi is excellent.|4) When you book over phone, they call you on the day of your arrival to reconfirm your arrival|5) Rooms are available when you reach at 4 am in the morning.|6) 24 hours check in / check out. ||Minus points:|1) Some rooms are really bad. A few friends told us they got good rooms . We were not lucky. hence the rating of 3.|2) Cockroaches are present in whichever room we stayed. |3) No restaurant in the hotel. No kettle for making tea / coffee yourself. |4) Water bottles are not part of standard supplies. You have to pay for it. ||We stayed there because it was very close to the place where we performed the rituals.

I had visited this property during Dec'24 during peak season. Location is very near to the Rameshwaram temple. However, property has very shabby look, specially the reception area. Old and dirty furnitures are lying around the main entrance of the property. Yes, the reception staffs were not also having basic etiquette how to talk guests. Overall, we just spent 1 night anyhow. No in-house canteen/ restaurant facility is there. I would have never been there, if it was not a Holiday Home of my employer institution.

It gets stupid hot inside, smells absolutely disgusting, poor services and it's in a tight place that you practically shouldn't take your car to. To add insult to injury when I initially went inside the bathroom I felt what I thought was dirt on the floor, but only a bit later did I realize that it was dried up salt from the water. You absolutely should not wash your hair with water from this hotel, it's not like fresh water isn't available some restaurants nearby have perfectly fresh water when you open their taps. Overall I am very disappointed and would recommend anyone thinking about staying over here stay further in on mainland india and then drive to whichever destination you want to visit.

I had a great experience staying here. I booked the room a day in advance, and everything went smoothly. The location is convenient with autos available round the clock. The room rates are reasonable: 1000 for a non-AC double bed and 1500-1800 for an AC room, depending on demand. The staff are polite and speak both Hindi and English. Booking over the phone is reliable, and the room was very clean, suggesting the building is newly built. Whether you're staying for a day or two, I highly recommend this place as it can be easily booked with a phone call.

Great stay at the Hotel Sudhiksha.....The room was quite spacious and also clean.....Lift facility is also there.

Rooms are not cleaned at all.They are not maintaining it properly.After repeated calling they will send cleaning staff. TV not working,They will not give Soap, Shampoo and Towel too.They will allow you only to stay. Every staff member is good in behaviour and helpful.Location is nearby Temple,this is the only thing to book this hotel. Otherwise if you are going to stay 2-3 days don't go to this hotel

Disgusting behavior of staff....rooms are not at all clean there are cockroachs all over and on bed, beds sheets are not clean I doubt they don't wash! Pl don't go by google pics...ac and geyser don't work sometimes...

Decent hotel with AC, non AC rooms. I had 2bed and 3bed room. 2 bed non AC room's bathroom was very dirty and room had smell of cigarette smoke despite keeping the window open for 5 hours. So we decided to change room and moved to the AC room by paying 500 extra. Here bathroom was still dirty but acceptable. Staff was helpful. Location is near the main temple, restaurant and auto stand is also close by.
