Hotel SS Palace

One of the worst rooms i have stayed. Bed sheets were full damp and floor was all wet , my parents room was full with water on floor. Manager here was very intelligent , he doesn't know when restaurant opens and what is available to eat, when snacks are served he knows nothing but was very intelligent. He said all over india you will get only water bottle once and after that it will be charged but he was very intelligent. Anyways on positive side they were not charging additional charges and selling bottles on mrp. Don't stay at this hotel if you want comfortable stay, instead there are few good hotels nearby. Don't waste your money by staying here.

Room bedsheet were damp.when called they said put ac on very cool temperature it will become OK, or put fan on high. LoL, they charged money after 2 water bottle saying this happens allover india that we should pay for water bottle after 2 bottles,lol.whenver we called restaurant they were either closed or not having anything.bathroom are worst.water leaking from handset, flush not working on 312. Book at your own risk ,no working wifi

If there was an option of giving minus star to the restaurant, I would have given that. The added pics are the two dishes that I ordered, which arrived after 25 minutes. The order itself was taken after 20 minutes as they have one staff for a jam packed restaurant. The quality of the food was so bad that I was questioning my very decision of walking into the restaurant. The service is equally pathetic and it is topped with their casual and "not a care in the world attitude". Please do not make the mistake of entering into this place.

People will watch the photos in online and book the hotel without proper checkup. We 27 people stayed in this hotel in Feb 6&7, 2025. It was a bad experience. No water from the night..Breakfast and food also not providing in time..No proper management. Manager has no time to look into the business. As like he is wealthiest than owner and just showing his presence once in a while. only four staffs in the kitchen to cook and serve. The waiters are coming directly from the sleep and serving foods without washing their faces. Front office Manager and staffs are cutting vegetables to avoid arguments with customers in the morning.

The hotel's location is its biggest advantage - facing the highway . 1.7 km from Ramanathaswamy Temple. The staff is courteous and helpful. The hotel's restaurant serves decent South Indian food. Overall, it's a good option for budget-conscious travellers. However, don't expect any frills or luxuries."

One of the worst restaurant in this locality. Definitely not worth it! The food wasn't cooked completely. The dosa batter was half cooked. The waiter was showing a bad attitude to the paying customers. Tomato uthapam was half cooked and the tomatoes wasn't even chopped. All the customers faced similar problems

!!PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE BOOKING!! I don't typically write reviews unless my experience is exceptionally poor, and unfortunately, that was the case with this hotel in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. Having visited South India for the past week, I enjoyed a wonderful stay in Kerala and had high expectations for Rameswaram. However, this hotel fell far short of even basic standards, and I feel compelled to share my experience as a caution to others. I strongly advise against booking this hotel unless you're prepared to waste your hard-earned money. The daily rate charged here could easily cover a week's stay at a comparable hotel with far superior service and amenities. Prior to booking, I specifically inquired about the availability of a refrigerator, as I needed a functional unit to keep my water and beer cold throughout my stay. I was assured that a fridge would be provided. Upon arrival, however, I discovered that the refrigerator in my room was not operational. The issues didn't end there. The television lacked an internet connection, rendering it impossible to access streaming services such as YouTube or Netflix. There was no electrical adapter or power board available, making it difficult to charge devices with U.S. plugs. The room also lacked a table for dining, and the bathroom was not equipped with toilet paper--basic amenities I would expect from any accommodation. When I contacted the receptionist to report the television issue, I was told a technician would be sent to assist. Two individuals arrived, but their attempt to resolve the problem was inadequate. They started to check remote and asked my IP addresses ( don't know what they were trying to do ). They could not able to fixed and promised to send someone else to fix it, but no one returned. They called themselves a 3 star hotel, but in actual it should be negative zero star.. The staff's understanding of hospitality and service standards appears nonexistent. I urge potential guests to exercise caution and thoroughly research alternatives before booking here, as my experience suggests this hotel is not worth the cost or frustration.

Room were clean but AC were not giving proper cooling Staff were polite but agreed terms of room booking is being denied by there other sift incharge So please clear your term of room booking very clear in writing
