Hotel SDM Golden Tower

A nice hotel offering basic amenities. The rooms are of a modest size--comfortable enough, though minor maintenance issues were noticeable. The staff were courteous and responsive, appreciate manager Kannan for an early check-in, which was immensely considerate. The hotel includes a small restaurant, though the food quality leaves room for improvement. Room service operates for limited hours, which might be inconvenient for some. There's a small parking area available. The best feature is its convenient location, as it's within walking distance of the temple. While the pricing feels a bit higher compared to the amenities provided, it seems justified by its location.

I stayed in SDM Golden tower for 3 days, it was a wonderful and comfortable stay with a Veg restaurant providing room service and the food tastes good. The hotel room was very comfortable, staff were very polite and helpful providing great hospitality. Rameshwaram temple(West gate) is just 5 mins walkable distance from the hotel.

Overall, a good hotel with a pleasant experience. They allowed us early check-in, which was really helpful, though it was provided with the condition of early check-out -- which was fair. The staff were friendly and supportive throughout our stay. The restaurant food was also nice. Would definitely recommend it.

Average Hotel, reasonable size rooms which looks old. We felt a bit suffocated as our room (B22) had just one small window which was for name sake. You will easily hear noise if people are talking while walking in corridor and impacts sleep. Service is questionable as we asked for towels change twice but never came. Staff in restaurant are really good but food taste is just average. Location is best as it is just 5 minutes walking distance from temple.

My recent stay at SDM Golden Tower was pleasant. While the location was convenient and the prominent places to be visited are at a walkable distance. I was on a solo trip to visit RamanathaSwamy Temple and stayed there for 3 nights . The hotel staffs were helpful, attentive ,friendly and guides you as and when required. Their hospitality is worth to be mentioned. Special mention for Kannan Dada who made every effort to make my stay at SDM pleasant , safe and happy . Overall had a satisfying experience and quite safe for female solo travellers.

Not sure why even few have rated bad. Rooms r big and the price of the hotel is similar to other typical 3 star hotels. Staff are really courteous and helpful. Near the temple hence a positive point. Food is good do not expect North Indian delicacy and taste to be available but at least they have the option to eat. They tried hard to cook. The major issue is that the service time of food is very very slow. Parking is not within hotel premises but security will do the needful.

Excellent hotel with walkable distance from temple (4min). Pure veg restaurant and complimentary breakfast is amazing. Excellent service by Mr. Kannan (manager) and team. Superb hygiene and amenities. Would be a must stay hotel in Rameshwaram.

Basic hygiene missing. Had a good expectation based on the high rates but was completely disappointed. Bathrooms were too small and uncomfortable with no toilet papers available which is the basic hygiene. Complementary water available in the room was only 500 ml per person per Day which was very shocking and disturbing. We need to go out or in hotel restaurant to buy extra water. Bedsheets were not at all fresh and there were no pillow cover on the pillow. Towels provided also did not seems to freshly washed. Handwash not available in bathrooms.
